This product is a much better idea than using your windshield. It stays in place and you don't have to worry about it falling off. Great idea for GPS users.

We are not very satisfied with our purchase of the secure hold-GPS auto dash mount. We can not charge our Garmin GPS while in the holder. I would not have purchased this stand if we would have known this. We are RVers and it was dissapointing.

Was very disappointed when this item was received. Everything was great up until I realized that GPS cannot be charged while in this unit. The sides that secure the GPS cover up the area where the unit needs to be plugged in. Wish I would have known this before purchasing. Also, GPS could easily fall off if moving it around on the dash. There have to be better products out there. Do yourself a favor, avoid this one

I am about to buy a second one of these because I bought another Garmin for a second car -- (Garmin has really come down in price). The bean bag works great! Far superior to the window mount which I could never get to stay on and then it left steal-me circles on the windshield.

We were going on a trip and I wanted a portable mount so my iPhone could function as our GPS. This was a terrible option. It broke after two weeks and it is simply too big. Buy a mount meant for your iPhone or other device specifically. This universal mount is simply not worth the money.

I rated this product earlier, but apparently, it was removed. Do not buy this POS. I bought specifically for its "claim" of compatibility with a Garmin Nuvi, model 360. The Nuvi 360 has a side mount auto adapter, but this unit only accepts straight mount. Ergo, I would not have purchased if their compatibility statement had be honest.

Doesn't hold my GPS sturdyly. If it is in place then it is very easy to use. By itself it is a good product (well built and easy to place anywhere). The problem is sometimes when I move it to avoid sunlight reflection my GPS would fall off. When driving that could be dangerous.

Subject says it all, this product needs approximately 8x8 inches of flattish or slightly contoured real estate. My eagle talon abhors the thing, but the likes of a modern Jeep Wrangler or similar will mount this without issue.

I have a 3.5 inch Garmin NUVI and this did not work well for it. It just doesn't fit. It might fit a different size. I tossed it.

I ordered this product and tried it with TomTom ONE. It cannot hold the unit. I tried all different combinations and finally had to return the product.
It might be working well with Smartphones but certainly not recommended for GPS units.
