I have been using this system for a few days now. It is decent for the price. It is very user friendly, just plug it up and turn it on. My biggest gripe is with the IR night vision. It is not as powerful as I had hoped. But, this system does what I need it to do. I am using it for my house, just to keep an eye on things while I am gone. The DVR is pretty straight forward, but if you want to view on a laptop or desktop you have to get a USB flashdrive. Transfer video to the flashdrive and then use the included viewer program CD-Rom to edit, view, and convert to .avi format. If you have the extra money to spend, go with something a little more advanced. But if you are on a budget like me, this set up will do. It will come with everything you need, all you need is a monitor or TV for viewing. And it does come with a cable to connect to your TV, the ad does not specify that. Overall, I'm pleased. Now, let's see how long it lasts.

Everything arrived as was promised and quite quickly using regular ship. All components just as presented - it is an inexpensive security setup and that is what I was after.
