This lock box is great and is built very sturdily. My only problem is that the combinations have no set sequence, meaning if you set the combination to 1234, people will be able to get the key by entering 4321, 4231, 4123, 3214, 1423, and so on and so on. Still hard to guess? Yes, but it makes for a much bigger target. Also, you can't use a number more than once, so a combination like 12321 wouldn't even be allowed.

Pros: easy to install (You need some very slight mechanical skill to install it), easy to set clock, and to program combination to keysafe. The unit is very sturdy. It would be easier to break into the house than to break into the keysafe.It has a very sleek design, which makes it much less conspicuous than other comparable keysafes.

Cons: The numbers in the combination can only be used once. Thus 1234 is the same as 2143. This reduces the number of possible combinations to 1000. A lot for most purposes but still possible (but improbable) to figure out. The unit is a light gray except for the small box at the top that contains the clock. It is black. To my mind, this part stands out like a sore thumb. The plastic should be made to match the grey keysafe. The bolt holding the key does constantly come loose, which is a nuisance.The feature that tells when the keysafe has been opened could be useful, but I doubt it holds true for most people.I've opened the keysafe myself and forgotten that I, not someone else, accessed the keysafe. I recommend that people buy the same version, but without the clock. This should be adequate for 99% of people and that model is more aesthetically pleasing (all gray)and less of a hassle to use (no clock to set and reset).

This Product Has saved My Butt Many Times. Also has been really Good for Pet Sitter, as I Can see when SHE stopped by to Feed my Cats when Ive been away. I Placed it out in Garage, as many times i Have gone out there to grab something from My Car, and BAM- Locked Out. I Did Not like leaving a Key Loose Out there... The Only Problem i Have with it, is you Have to put it in a well Lit area. The Numbers On the key Pad you cannot see in the dark..( Need flashlight) Once You Learn the placement of the numbers, can do it with Eyes Closed... But untill then they are hard to see. I Love the way it works.. I Have never had a Problem with it working.. It beats calling a Locksmith!

I installed this Key Safe in my new home and it has proven to be the perfect solution for placing a key outside my home. My home has handles that lock on the inside, but still allow you to open the door, if you don't check to make sure the handle is in the un-locked position before you exit, you will be locked out. It has also been handy for giving contractors access to the house when needed. It was super easy to install, very heavy duty metal construction. Others have complained about the key coming off the base, I have not encountered that problem. I am very satisfied with this product.

I purchased this as a way to safely store an extra key and it has definitely been worth it. I've locked myself out and been able to get back in quickly, and I've used it to allow contractors access to my home. The unit comes off the mounting easily so you can reset the password.

Passwords cannot repeat digits due to the design, and the screw that holds the key on the pop-out base keeps coming loose, but other than that, this is worth every penny. I especially like the time stamp - I was able to confirm the time the plumber let himself in.

Great Product. Only issue is that the key kept coming loose from the base, but after replacing with new nut, bolt and spring washer, back to no problems....
