After a few costly hit and runs, I needed a solution to monitor my mailbox.

I really wanted to like this camera and hoped it would work out for me. It was a good price and the features seemed promising. The initial setup was easy. I was able to tune the system in with no major problems. Unfortunately, when I moved the wireless camera more than 3 feet from the wireless receiver, the signal was lost. I tried carefully to tune it in but could never reestablish a signal without bringing the unit closer to the receiver.

Perhaps I got a bad unit or perhaps there was some interference. This one just did not work well. I guess I will need to find another more reliable system to monitor my mailbox.

When you open the box this you see the wireless receiver, power cords, av cords, and of course the little camera. I set this camera up looking outside my front window so you could see the driveway. the camera actually has pretty good quality. Nothing HD or anything but fair enough to so you can make out people or vehicles. The camera is In color. This camera does not operate to well during the night but you can see headlights if a car was to pull in your driveway or something. During the day everything is crystal clear. I have the camera set up about max 20 ft away from the tv. You do have to mess with the tuner on the receiver to get the best quality. Just turn it very slowly till you can see something and then tweak it to where its best for you.
