Pros: It works and has descent video, it works with any video setup wether it is just a TV, a sequencer or a DVR.

Cons: poor low light video, poor switches (better quality switches are needed!)

I replaced the switches with better quality switches and it works great now. Been running and recording for 4 months 24/7 inside a polebarn to watch the dogs and that no one goes inside. I have two 4 foot flourecent lights that light the barn and the video is good enough to see if the the dogs are getting into things or not. Now if it just had better switches and low light camera.

Purchased this in November and immediately fell in love with it. I could pan all around our driveway and it seemed like the ideal alternative to using multiple cameras. Imagine, getting a pan camera for hundreds less than other cameras with the same function! And, even without IR lighting, it did a good job at night only using our streetlight for illumination. The controls, while a bit awkward, were still workable.

Then....in May we suddenly could only see the house eves highlighted by the camera. I discovered that it had frozen in one position and would not move. Even worse, the camera was really hot, appearing to overheat from the effort to move itself back. I unplugged it and will now replace it with a conventional camera.

A shame that, but I guess I should have realized it wasn't going to last long given the price point. I had hoped that it would make it more than a few months though.

I purchased the SecurityMan Pandome 2 months ago and all is working great.. better than expected. I installed it under my garage eves. It took around 30 minutes as I had to crawl through my garage attic to run the wire to my Main Media Center. The Pandome sweeps automatically 180 degress or you can position it to a stopped view. I can cover my driveway as well as the entire street in both directions. Whenever we want to check security or are expecting comapny.. we push the PIP button on the TV and programed the PIP picture to the AV-in (RCA Phono Jack).. There is no audio.. but really don't need it. Great sense of security and it has value. Professionals are trained to look for security devices and the SecurityMan PAndome provides the fact that you might be watching, or recording every move. Also the daylight gives excellant quality color and the night with low light capabilities gives great black and white contrast picture. Super happy with this purchase

This is an OK camera. Pans nicely but as other reviews mention it lacks a decent control panel. The one provided is rather cheap and flimsy.

The reason I gave this product a low rating is for lack of information in the product description and the products shortcomings:

If you are thinking of buying this product be forewarned that it's operating
temperature is between 39.6 degrees F and 147.6 F.
Unfortunately this wasn't stated in the description and we didn't open the package soon enough to realize this and it was too late to return the product. We live in the Northern Midwest of the U.S with winter temps of below zero so as an outside security camera it's useless to us.

It may work for those in warmer climates or even in a sheltered location or the inside of an unheated shed, porch or building if you live in colder areas if that is what you are seeking but we purchased this for the NW outside corner of our house and the winter winds would more that likely cause the pan feature to freeze up and render it useless.

but Amazon.com does not have enough information about their products to help a potential customer make a decision. You have to purchase the item, realize that it is crap, send it back and hope for your refund. That is a horrible way to do business. It would help for the salesman to provide pictures of the hook up wires, more information about the camera itself and thing that would help someone interested to make a carefree decision.

They debited of my credit card the amount to me by 5 dome cam and soon they reviewed its inventories and they realized that 4 had single dome cam.
I believe that first they must review inventory and soon to block the amount in the credit card
