I'd first like to say that if you buy this course directly from the author, Hale Dwoskin, he offers a 6-month, no-questions-asked, return policy. That's why I purchased it initially.

This is a wonderful course and Hale Dwoskin is very, very patient in his teaching style. This program is based on the teachings of the late Lester Levenson- a person who fully achieved self-realization and then shared his knowledge with others before passing on. Anyone who comes upon the teachings of Lester Levenson is a lucky person- since he is not well known at all.

The Sedona Method teaches how to be happy and satisfied feeling inside. It works. It teaches how to let go of worrying and how to achieve all you want in your life.

If one wants a more thorough understanding of why it's OK to just go with the instructions given in this program, you could read, in addition, "No Attachments, No Aversions- Autobiography of an American Master" by Lester Levenson, followed by "Happiness if Free and It's Easier Than You Think" by Hale Dwoskin and Lester Levenson, followed by "Keys to the Ultimate Freedom" by Lester Levenson (no longer in print, but available in full on the web or as a used book on Amazon). Those 3 books, in addition to this Sedona Method course is a life-transforming body of education that is far more valuable than any other type of education.

There is another program called "The Release Technique" by Larry Crane, and he also is a former direct student of Lester Levenson. His program is virtually identical to The Sedona Method course in content, but his presentation style is very different from Hale Dwoskin's. Larry Crane is more of a "tell-it-like-it-is" type of teacher, while Hale Dwoskin is a very patient and kind type of teacher. Both have their programs in book form and on CD's. Both courses teach virtually the same content, but with different words and different teaching styles. Both courses are better understood by reading both the book forms and also listening to the CD versions. The Sedona Method course is much more in-depth than The Release Technique. FYI- Hale Dwoskin has a strange way of laughing on his audio program (he does this laughing in order to help people to "just let that go" or "release") and at first, my husband and I found it a little distracting and even annoying... but we decided to feel love for him instead "because of the way he laughs" and that helped us a lot and from there on, whenever he laughed, it would make us laugh too.

And if you don't love the course and think it really helped you live a happier and freer life, Hale allows you to return it without any questions. Truly nothing to lose and everything to gain. It's made a world of difference in my life. I used to be consumed with concerns and worries- but I don't feel any of that anymore.

In my opinion, this course has been a great aid in getting through many bad and good times.
I bought my first video course back in 95. Later I got their cassette audio course, clean-up tapes, Living Truth tapes, along with the Lester tapes,(I even have the original Lester 'Keys' book), plus Hal's 2 books, and finally I followed up through the years with the new releasing Freedom program.
I am always curious to see what other releasing programs that Hal Dwoskin can come up with to make releasing more effective and easier. So that is why when this CD course was available new without the manual for $100, I jumped on it. I made my own personal copy of the new audio CD course. I will probably resell it for $75. You really don't need the manual.
I also have the original Larry Crane releasing method tapes. Larry's style is totaly different. Back in 95, I didn't like them because I thought he was going too fast with his leading. I just went over them again, and they really blew me away. There were a few dedicated disciples of Lester back in the 60's and 70's.
I did notice a big difference in this CD course as oppose to all the other courses...Dwoskin actually explains the psychology in depth for all our suffering 'mental programs' that we run 50k to 60k per today. So if you are one of those 'logical' sufferers that always 'wants to figure it out', this course explains it all.
The reason I pursued releasing, was that it complemented my meditation. When you meditate, it tends to bring up allot of ca-ca, hence release it.
The most effective meditation techniques are the ones used by the OBE junkies...you have to be without fear, without monkey chatter, and have a clean slate...no space, no time, in order to leave your physical body.
When Dwoskin and Crane were repromoting there courses ten years ago, they were very accessable via telephone...that was kind of neat to be talking to Lester's disciples directly. Larry still carried some wanting to control attitude, but Hal was pure Hal. I would like to be a fly on his lapel, I could learn so much more...could I? would I?...hee, hee! [...]
