Number one, the reviews should be for the product itself not the company you purchased it from. Many of the lower ratings come from poor purchase experience. I've spent maybe 1000 dollars on hair straighteners... I have long (fanny length) and thick (it doesnt even fit in one fist) hair. I've used this straightener and it works fabulously. Just purchase it through Amazon and you shouldn't have any trouble.

Good quality of this the iron is light weight so easy to handle,I can't say it is greater than a good ceramic flat iron ,overall good. "Folica" shipped it fast but never respond to mails- very bad. I am happy because I got it through "Amazon".

I ordered this item and I have three things to report:
1.It is not a bad product but no different from any flat iron you can buy in a store for less than half the price, just an average flat iron.
2. They promised it would come with a pouch and it did not.
3. The worst of all: I ordered from Europe and the distributor (folica) gave a fake price for the flat iron to customs ((...)). Customs in Austria went online and saw the real price (...) and now they are charging me over 60 dollars customs. It is not serious that FOLICA lies about the price and puts customers in trouble.Plus: they never answer the phone or reply emails. I am extremely dissapointed and this purchase has been a nightmare. I DO NOT recommend it!

I bought this Sedu flat iron because i moved to Europe and my Chi orignal is not compatible with converters. Ive been using it for 2 months and ive noticed a drastic difference in the health of my hair. The Chi straightens well but it leaves your hair crispy and less managable. The sedu on the other hand left my hair feeling like silk and didnt leave any damage. This was important to me because i have very long hair, but the Sedu still straightened my hair faster and better than the Chi with less damage so i highly recomend this.

Sedu straighteners are AMAZING. I work in a salon and they sell some high-end ceramic hair straighters for over $[...] each. However, the Sedu straighters are WAY more easier on your hair. They glide over the hair like silk, and I don't find that the expensive other-brand ceramic straighters feel silky when I glide them over my hair. I don't know about ordering Sedu products overseas like the other customer did ([...]), but the Sedu corporate office is here in the US in New Jersey. The ceramic or whatever its called, when it heats and up and you glide it down your hair, it is super smooth and there is no tugging on your hair. LOVE IT. I wish they would make curling irons but I don't think they do.

I have very frizzy, dry hair, but this straightener does not seem to damage it at all! No hair straightener but this one can tame my thick, curly hair. My hair stays straight and frizz-free until I wash it again.

I am traveling abroad. I ordered Sedu Ionic Ceramic Tourmaline Flat Iron Hair Straightener (Euro Edition) from Folica and I got within 3 days, there was a miss understanding because of the voltage (I ordered something that works with 220-240V) but the consumer manual stated 110-120V. I managed to call them and they confirmed it is the product I ordered! I am traveling soon so i will be able to tell then!! But the service was excellent!
