5.0 out of 5 stars Worth Every Penny!, September 19, 2010
This review is from: Seduced on the Red Carpet (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
Supermodel Livia Blake goes to a Napa Valley B&B/winery to scope out the chapel for her friend Rachel's wedding (from the Love in the Limelight Series) and encounters first a humongous dog named Willard, a shy little girl named Kendra and her oh so rude and sexy father Hunter. While there, Livia & Hunter devlop a friendship and a steamy romance but widowed Hunter is afraid to love again because he believes that after having a Hollywood life, Livia won't stay in his normal world. I enjoyed this story immensley and hated for it to end; there was a real sense of family, scenes of humor and of course firey passion. Just a very well written story that I started in the morning and couldn't put it down until I was through. I'd highly recommend!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!, October 5, 2010

This review is from: Seduced on the Red Carpet (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book was wonderful! The author created main characters that are down to earth so that you can truly understand who they are and what they value. Even though Livia's a supermodel, she's not the least bit superficial. Even though Hunter is a simple guy, he's charming and intriguing. He's able to see past Livia's glamorous image to the woman underneath it all. I enjoyed every aspect of their romance in the wine country. The great secondary characters (Hunter's daughter and parents) serve to enhance the overall story. This was a quick read that will captivate you within the first few pages and make you laugh, smile, and wish for your own Hunter Chambers! Though Ann Christopher's writing has always been good, her last few romance novels have been AWESOME (check out Road to Seduction, Redemption's Kiss, and Campaign for Seduction)! You will not regret this purchase!

5.0 out of 5 stars Seduced by the Book, October 8, 2010
This review is from: Seduced on the Red Carpet (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
I loved this book. Hunter and Livia were the perfect couple. I love her spunk and ability to push Hunter's buttons. The supporting cast was fabulous. I fell in love with Kendra, Hunter's little girl at once. I read this book in one sitting absolutely enthralled by every page. I like the fact that the story was pure and the unnecessary drama was absent; it did not need it. Getting the characters to a place of peace and love was all the tension this book needed. This author had the midas touch. All of her books thus far have been hits. If you are in the mood for a love story that is sexy, touching, sizzling and has a HEA ending .... this is the story for you.

I loved Livia and Hunters story but Kendra stole the show for me that would be Hunter's 6 year old daughter. Hunter's witty responses were good and Livia was as well the chemistry was good and can't complain about the sex.

5.0 out of 5 stars LOVED THIS BOOK!!!, September 8, 2011
This review is from: Seduced on the Red Carpet (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
I must say I fell in love with Hunter and Livia. They were comedy to me. I liked how Livia was very upfront and put it out there, not playing the so shy woman who couldn't speak her mind and say what it is she wanted. Hunter was funny. I liked the interaction with the family when Ethan came home and they were all in the kitchen sitting at the table talking. This book was really good. A truly enjoyable read. Great job!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Perfect, August 2, 2011

I thought this book was fantastic. A love story with a child and pet, who wouldn't love that. Its the story of two extraordinary people (Hunter and Livia) who live in different worlds. She a supermodel and he a widowed, vineyard owner. Throw in his six year old daughter Kendra and a dog named Willard and you have great laughs and a lot of love. The sex scenes were really hot which was great but the falling in love was even better. Ms. Christopher keep them coming!

4.0 out of 5 stars Pleasantly Surprised!, July 16, 2011

This is book #3 in the 'Love in the Limelight' series and I loved it! This is the first book that I've read by this author, and since I didn't read the reviews before purchasing or reading the book, I had no idea what to expect. I didn't like the first book in the series, even though it was by one of my favorite authors, and since I wasn't familiar with the authors of Books 2 and 3, I was a little worried; happy to report, that that worry was all in vain. Books 2 and 3 were good - really good!

I read this book in a day (a sure sign that I liked it!); started it while at the salon and came straight home afterwards so that I could finish it. Hunter and Livia made a great couple, but Kendra and Willard almost stole the book. They were too adorable!

Great job, Ann Christopher! Can't wait to read your other books!

4.0 out of 5 stars Real romance, June 29, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This was my first time ready a book by Ann Christopher. It was captivating from the start. It held my attention all the way to the end. Good love story and it seemed real, not far fetched. I love the book. The only thing I would love is to have more conversations between the characters and not just the author narrating and the characters "thinking". It was a good read. I would love to follow the characters in the furture. Is there a part 2 out there?

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect love story, January 28, 2011

It has all the triming for a great romance novel. I loved the story because it has glitz and glamour along with just the right amount of passion. If you want a modern day cinderella story this is it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A well matched couple, December 29, 2010
This review is from: Seduced on the Red Carpet (Kimani Romance) (Mass Market Paperback)
When apart Livia and Hunter are the perfect fantasy mates. Him: a tall, gorgoeus single (widowed) dad to an adorable little girl and himself the son of equally adorable funny, loving parents. He is sexy and smart and knows his Beaujolais from his Bordeaux...what's not to like?
Livia: we were presented with the frequently rehashed stereotype of the stunningly beautiful model who is far from dumb and underneath the glitz and Givenchy is really a warm, sensitive, down to earth type. Who also happens to be wonderful with kids. Ok.
The story itself hinged on how their two seperate worlds collide and meld: the glam, hard partying, jet-settting model's life versus Hunters wholesome wine-making, organic food eating world? Nail-biting stuff indeed.
An overall engaging read.

I re-read this book and humbly take back my previous assessment- it was actually a lovely story.
