From the Author
Dear Readers,
Bold. Sexy. Sassy. Women who want. Men who provide. Those aspects of Harlequin Temptation intrigued me the first time I read one. So basic, yet so complex, the lure of these novels proved irresistible when I happened upon the right story.
At my ten-year high school reunion, I was amazed at how many of my classmates had married each other. However, a few former high school sweethearts not only hadn't reunited, but they were also still single. The writer in me instantly started speculating about the possibilities...and Angela and Jack, the hero and heroine of Seducing Sullivan, came to life.
From the start, these two characters demanded a highly sensual story. When Harlequin launched Blaze, Temptation's new line of "red-hot" reads, my hopes for this story soared. Luckily, my editor had the same vision. She encouraged me to pull out all the stops in exploring Jack's and Angela's unresolved desires-and the results nearly scorched my computer keys!
I've included a short, condensed sampling from the first chapter to whet your appetite. If you find this to your liking, I hope you'll rush to the bookstore of your choice to pick up a copy of Seducing Sullivan. I assure you, things only get hotter from here!
Writing for Temptation is a dream come true-the kind of fantasy Temptation heroines live between these fiery red covers. I look forward to my next book for Blaze, scheduled for release next year, and to a long and sizzling career with Harlequin.
Sincerely,
Julie Elizabeth Leto

About the Author
Perseverance is a word Julie Elizabeth Leto has known all her life. Born and raised in Florida to a close-knit Italian-American family, Julie learned never to give up or give in--especially when in pursuit of a lifelong dream. She worked over eight years before Harlequin Temptation bought her first book,
Seducing Sullivan.
Julie began her writing career in the sixth grade. After reading every Hardy Boys mystery ever written, she and two friends created their own series featuring, of course, three female heroines. The writing bug stayed with Julie upon her enrollment at the University of South Florida in Tampa. As a Creative Writing/Speech Communication major, she seriously devoted herself to learning the craft and business of writing.
A long time romance reader, Julie loved the genre and decided these were the stories she wanted to write. While working as an English teacher, she continued to pursue her goal, writing at night and on weekends. In 1996, she retired from teaching, joined her family's manufacturing business and gave herself more time to write. In March of 1997, "the call" from Harlequin came with an offer to publish Seducing Sullivan, her fourth completed novel.
Julie discovered her niche with Temptation's sensuous, sexy tone and character-driven stories. Her desire to "push the envelope" of romance fit perfectly in Temptation's Blaze series. All the rejection letters and years of working to improve and hone her style paid off.
Her second book, an as-of-yet untitled Blaze scheduled for release early in 1999, revolves around Grant Riordan, an investment banker who can't afford a scandal, and Harley Roberts--a mystery woman who ends up, literally, in his lap. Is she really just a stripper hired to perform at a bachelor party, or is she the woman he's fantasized about of all his life?
