"Bedtime Stories" was a late night cable TV series. This DVD contains three episodes: "Blind Fold", "First Love", and "The Rival". The stories all center around a brothel run by Kim Dawson. Women come to her to get help for problems with their sex life. It's almost identical to the types of stories contained in Mainline's "Secrets of the Kama Sutra" releases and is produced by the same people responsible for those stories. And like "Secrets", the stories aren't really that interesting, but deliver plenty of well done sex scenes.

There are a total of eleven sex scenes. Five are boy/girl. Two are boy/girl, with another girl watching and providing her own entertainment. One is boy/girl/girl. One is girl solo. Two are girl/girl. The women are beautiful and include several softcore A listers: Kim Dawson, Gabriella Hall, Flower, Taimie Hannum, and Samantha Phillips.

"Diary of Seduction" is a typical low budget softcore feature film with a standard "thriller" plot. Call girl. Murder. Female private investigator who goes undercover. Nothing new here. It's a decent softcore flick, but nothing special. Perfectly suited to be the B side on a double feature release.

It contains nine sex scenes. Six are boy/girl. One is boy/girl with second girl watching. One is boy/girl/girl. One is girl/girl. The sex scenes are okay, but not great. They are just a little on the tame side, with the camera only occasionally panning down to the nether regions during the action. The women are all attractive. Some of them are also adult film stars. I was familiar with Nicole Sheridan, Amy Lindsay, and Kaylynn from other videos. The other two women, Wendy Rice and Tina Tyler, were new to me.

This DVD is worth getting for "Bedtime Stories" alone. "Diary of Seduction" has some good stuff too, and makes it a better value. This one is very recommended.

If you watch soft core erotica, you already know that any series in which Kim Dawson gets naked is worth your time to watch.

Bedtime Stories, where Kim plays a lady who runs a service to help women overcome sexual or relationship problems and fulfill their fantasies, was a perfect vehicle for her.

Overall, the acting in the series is competent, and you'll see many of the performers who parade thru these Cinemax ensemble casts.

Some of the shows are amusing, and a few are true erotic home runs.

The sets are rich, the women are beautiful, and some of the stories are actually interesting all on their own.

The rating is compared to other material of this type.

Sometimes a person wants to unwind from a very difficult day at work, absolutely no stress, and escape to a place in time where fantasy and imagination is o.k. This is the story for you. OR, you might be working your tail off exercising and get the body you want for self confidence, a better job, or just to be healthy; this movie is for you. Two great soft adult features for the price of one. Diary of Seduction has a good plot, nice looking actors, and a hint of Alfred Hitchcocks, "Psyco". I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Bedtime Stories is pure fantasy with all good endings that very well could happen in everyday life. The actors are again nice looking and nothing is acted badly. I highly recommend these escape movies for those who want to relax, unwind, and enjoy the most wonderful gift humanity has, our sexuality.
