I loved the 1st one and I was beyond surprised to find out that there was a 2nd! This one didn't let me down either. I love an erotic tale that actually has a story to keep it moving. The sex scenes are off the chain and there are certain situations that will make you do a double-take... while you're reading!!! Now... where is book 3?

SEDUCTION centers around The Black Door 2, a club where erotica has no limits, and its private members have secrets that could ruin lives and shame families.

Mason Anthony and Sage Hirschfield are the main male characters in the tale. Although Mason and Sage are unfamiliar with each other, both men have ties with two women: Missy and Terra. Mason, a former "server," is the manager of The Black Door 2. Sage is the heir to a publishing empire and has taken over the family business in addition to creating a multimedia company. Both Mason and Sage are drop dead gorgeous and have insatiable sexual appetites that tend to suck them into questionable situations that have unexpected, deterimental repercussions.

Terra is an heiress with unlimited cash, but she has no interest in the family business. Terra is more interested in becoming a movie star, and she wants to convince Sage, her long-time family friend, to hire her for his first movie deal. Sage doesn't see Terra as an aspiring actress until he's caught in a compromising position that could ruin life as he's known it.

Missy has an agenda, and has spent years preparing for it to come to fruition. Not only does Missy have secrets of her own, but she holds secrets about Sage and Mason that she hopes she can use to make her dream come true.

SEDUCTION has gyrating sex scenes that keep the pages on fire. Author Velvet is giving Noire and Zane fans a new twist on the erotica scene. I predict there will be many more branches of The Black Door.

Mason Anthony is a former escort that now manages The Black Door Two, a downtown sex club that caters to a younger clientele. Mason makes sure that all of his clients' needs are taken care of while satisfying his own sexual needs as well. Mason now wants to find Ms. Right, which is proving to be more challenging than he ever expected. He has his eyes set on the young and wealthy Terra Benson, but will she be the woman of his dreams or just another conquest? Mason's world turns upside down when someone from his dark past threatens his bright future. Terra was born into a wealthy family, but she wants to jump-start her acting career. She may have the boost she needs when her childhood friend Sage starts his own production company. Unbeknownst to Terra, Sage wants to be more than friends with her but can he do this without exposing his own dirty little secrets?

Seduction is another satisfying, seductive tale by Velvet. Velvet takes readers into to the erotic world of the Black Door Two. In this story, we are properly introduced to Mason and his quest for finding Ms. Right. Although the main focus of the book is Mason, Velvet did an excellent job of incorporating other key characters into this story. The addition of Terra and Sage gives readers a glimpse into the glamorous life of the rich and famous. There are also a number of graphic twists in this novel that may be disturbing to some readers but will still keep the reader glued to the pages. Readers should take note that this is not a sequel to the first Black Door book, but it is the second book in this series. Seduction can be read as a stand alone novel but you are encouraged to read the first book to get a good background on Mason and one of the other secondary characters named Trey. Seduction is full of steamy sex and intrigue that will surely delight Velvet's growing legion of fans.

I am on chapt 7 and it still isn't grabbing me. I came here to read reviews to see if I should really try to forge thru. It seems I'm the only one who is having a hard time, so I will give it a couple chapters and see what happens. Ok so I forced myself and it didn't get good until chapt 15. Ending on a good cliff-hanger so you have to get the next book of course. I still think it's just ok, I shouldn't have to read 15 chapters to start enjoying. smh

TWIN SOUL + FRIENDS BOOK CLUB

This book was really good, i read it in one day, cant wait to read the others, also this author kinda reminds me of Zane but way way better. I would recommend this book to any one looking for a book that has a good story line, sex, but not roungy.

The story line was awesome! I thought the characters were funny & the set up were realistic, how she (Velvet) mentioned real places in N.Y. & real top notch name brands when it came to clothes, cars, etc. The sex was off the chain; & i love how it she threw in the DL bi-sexual/gay men! It is so common in the real world! After every page there was a surprise, making me want more! I couldn't put it down, i was at work trying to finish the whole thing in one setting!

Please Velvet, i need 2 know what happens to Trey, Ariel & his father! As well as Mason, will his secret from college ever come out?????

Once you get started it will be hard to put this book down. A real page turner and sequal to black door that leaves you wanting more. You will read several chapters and then force yourself to put it down because you don't want it to end too soon.

Velvet!! Yes Velvet!!! What can I not say about this thriller!!! The characters are so vivid and very much descriptive that I can see their faces and expressions as I rapidly breeze through each page with my heart throbbing. The character Mason, is a hotty. Yes, I read your first book and it was quite mature for a woman my age 40's and I enjoyed it tremendously. Of course, you capture your readers well because I couldn't turn the pages fast enough while reading SEDUCTION. OH!!!Boy!!! did you bring it on!! It's nice to read about our young and educated black men being business moguls. Keep readers like myself turning the pages. Good Luck!!Velvet!!!!

Mason and Trey are quite intriquing men and know just how to give qa woman what she wants without anyone finding her out. Sage on the other hand is a man of many ventures. What lurks in the dark does find its way to the light at some point in time.

Although this book left me wanting to know more about Ariel's return and Mason and Terra rekindling, I still think this sequel is just as good as the Black Door. I'm sure there is a book three in the waiting.
