First off, Ms. Jackson should request a new editor at Harlequin. There were so many typos and consistancy problems in this story, it didn't make any sense and most of them were at the very beginning of the book. One minute the heroine was off the horse, two pages later she was back in the saddle.

Second thing, this book should have been titled Seduction:...

4.0 out of 5 stars When Your Back's Against the Wall, February 14, 2007

The attraction was indisputable and the chemistry was off the charts. So what's the problem then? Stubborn McKinnon feels that a life of bachelorhood is his destiny. There's nothing more I can say that hasn't already been said about Brenda. The fact that this is book number 45 speaks for itself. Fans of the Westmoreland family will not be disappointed. Anxiously waiting on Spencer's Forbidden Passion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Casey Westmoreland knows about seduction, February 16, 2007
This review is from: Seduction, Westmoreland Style (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
Another Westmoreland woman who gets her man. Much like the book that kicked off the Westmoreland series, we find that it's not only the Westmoreland men who get what they want. Casey wanted a job, but found McKinnon Quinn simply irresistable.
However, he was trying to fight his feelings for the beautiful Casey. When their romance develops, it's steamy.
As usual, Brenda Jackson has given us a book that is a great read. Casey and McKinnon have some serious issues and I love the fact that this couple helps each other grow.
You go Ms. Jackson!

5.0 out of 5 stars Her one and only, July 28, 2007

This review is from: Seduction, Westmoreland Style (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
Casey Westmoreland and McKinnon Quinn are finally united in SEDUCTION: WESTMORELAND STYLE, Brenda Jackson's tenth installment of the Westmoreland clan saga.

Casey is so dead-set on McKinnon being her first and only lover that she literally begs him to hire her as a horse trainer on his ranch. Of course he refuses. When one of the horses goes haywire, and before it injures one of his helpers, Casey steps in and brings the horse under control. After careful consideration McKinnon decides to give it a go and offers her the job. Little does he know he stepped out of the frying pan into the fire. You see, in order to fulfill the duties of the position, Casey would have to live in the guesthouse at his ranch. With Casey being in such close proximity, McKinnon finds himself daydreaming and having a hard time keeping his mind on running his ranch. Poor, poor McKinnon, Casey laid that ole Westmoreland Seduction on him so thick, he never knew what hit him.

In true Jackson fashion, this novel will leave you breathless. The back and forth antics between Casey and McKinnon will have you screaming at the top of your lungs, wishing they'd just get it over with. The book is well written and the storyline magnificent. Jackson is and has always been one of my favorite authors.

4.0 out of 5 stars Seduction, Westmoreland Style, July 24, 2007
This review is from: Seduction, Westmoreland Style (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
McKinnon Quinn does not want a woman in his life. Casey Westmoreland is a temptation too hard for McKinnon to resist though, so when she shows up at his ranch looking for a job as a horse trainer, McKinnon turns her down flat. When he realizes that she's he's only hope, he offers Casey a challenge she can't refuse. Casey accepts, but living on the ranch next to sexy McKinnon is going to be hard.

Eventually agreeing to a no strings attached affair may or may not be the way to go, but McKinnon needs to keep it that way because he's hiding a secret that he's sure Casey won't be able to accept.

Seduction, Westmoreland Style is a story where the sexual tension is high and the passion is tender. McKinnon is very sexy and Casey is strong and sweet. This is a nice story about acceptance and the power of love.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hot Time in Montana!, March 26, 2007

This review is from: Seduction, Westmoreland Style (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
Who would have thought of Montana as a romantic place to set a romance novel and especially a black romance novel at that? Well, Brenda Jackson one of the pioneer black romance writers has done so with this book. She is continuing her impressive line of books with Seduction, Westmoreland Style, and the latest addition in her Westmoreland books series. From the hot cover of the book to the hot romance in the book Seduction, Westmoreland Style, is an easy read with lovely descriptions of Montana weaved in for good measure. Ms. Jackson has snared her readers again into anticipating the next hot Westmoreland book with this entry. She has proven that she can only make it better with each new book she writes. Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars Brenda does it Again!!!, March 20, 2007
By
This review is from: Seduction, Westmoreland Style (Silhouette Desire) (Mass Market Paperback)
This installment in Brenda Jackson's Westmoreland series exudes the same passion and raw sensuality as in her other stories. Like the book that started this series off, this one features one of the few Westmoreland women in the family. And just like their male counterparts, they are as strong-willed, talented and passionate as ever. Casey Westmoreland effortlessly pulls McKinnon Quinn into her world, and she embeds herself into his heart. Just like Mrs. Jackson's other novels, she has an incredible way of telling an erotic story, all the while holding on to the powerful notion of LOVE! Her books are addictive and in every series that she writes, she leaves you feeling as if you really know these characters! This one is a must-read!

I have been waiting for McKinnon Quinn since he was introduced in the Durango Affair and I was not disappointed (although I knew I wouldn't be). Mrs Jackson does it as only she can. The chemistry between Casey and McKinnon was undeniable. Great story!! Can't wait for the next one.
