I'm thrilled to see Scott Baio back on TV and I really think the whole cast is fantastic. It seems like it took a few episodes for the show to find its groove but I really like what I've seen so far. Nice to see Nick at Nite bring this kind of fun sitcom programming back, and I'm also looking forward to Tia Mowry's upcoming Nick at Nite sitcom which I think will pair nicely with See Dad Run. Definitely worth watching!

I never dealt with streaming video before. It was free and I was curious as to what the series was about ( I like Scott Baio and Mark Curry) so I checked the preview and "paid" for it. I still had to provide my account email and password but because it was free no payment method was required and my leftover gift card money remained untouched. I liked it and watched all of the episodes of See Dad Run (luckily TeenNick or Nickelodean had reruns of the show, plus I have on demand). So the See Dad Run preview helped me commit to the show because I knew what it was about and I liked the premise of the show.

This is not the greatest comedy ever produced. I mean, it is pretty good and sort of entertaining, but reminds me of what I think the end result of the Disney Channel's attempt at launching a somewhat more mature (featuring a couple of swears on occasion, but nothing intensely vulgar; just the same sort of swearwords that usually you would find on a program airing on Nick at Nite, such as "hell" and "damn") situation comedy would look like. The little girl is overly-simplified, making her appear somewhat stupid, as others have mentioned. I understand that little children are innocent and may ask questions that sound dumb, but the little girl's lines come across as just plain stupid. The eldest daughter is portrayed as so moody and selfish that it is actually quite infuriating. I mean, I understand that adolescent girls are often moody and selfish, but the daughter acts that way to an annoying extent. She is not a ridiculously exaggerated spoiled brat, but she can be just so downright self-serving that she is unlikeable as a character. The son is given a number of problems and gastrial-intestinal issues. Believe me, I love good bathroom humor, but the gross-out humor that the son brings into the picture comes across as something pulled by a bad, cheesy Disney Channel character. The parents are not that bad, but the plot strikes me as something of a "guy-who's-sure-of-himself-meets-his-match" sort of thing. You probably shouldn't get this.

See Dad Run is cute but I'll wait till it's offered on Amazon Prime to continue watching the series. I love Scott Baio who I think is a very underrated actor. (Rent or buy The Bread my Sweet, A Wedding for Bella) to see what I'm talking about.

This show is one of the few, maybe only one, that I have no reservations at all for my family to watch. At first I thought it was going to be another "stupid dad/parents set straight by smart kids" show but it is not. It is about a family that loves each other, helps each other and messes up a lot. They all work together to solve the problem.
