Giant picture book biography; engaging for young people. This is great as a read-aloud -- there are giant photographs of Rembrandt's work, with exploratory questions printed for children to think about. Great for art lovers of any age. Includes some activities for children to try. We did the etching/shading project and the playing with color tinting project; we especially liked the two-page spread of Rembrandt self-portraits at almost every age!
