Yury's brilliant storytelling made me feel like I was along for the ride as he made this once-in-a-lifetime trek to the top of the world. Funny, insightful, a must read for anyone needing a reminder that it's OK to dream big. Yury showed that it's all within reach -- even the summit of Mount Everest.

I am a ski instructor in Colorado and a few years older than the author. Still, I found this book interesting and entertaining. I opened it with the intention to read a couple of pages and then, few hours later, found myself close to the end of the book. Yury fully appreciates being here in USA and gives interesting comparisons with realities in his native country, Russia, where he started climbing mountains. The book is full of specific details useful not only to a climber, but virtually to any outdoor activity, skiing, running, hunting, etc. Great book, Yury!

Wow! I love this book! I was impressed how such a little book could include so many things. Probably it's because the author talks from his heart.
This book tells the amazing story of the growing up from the one of the millions climbing amateurs to the one of the greatest climbers on Earth.
The detailed description of the Everest expedition shows that the Yury Pritzker' style to climb, considering all little details prior and during his climbing, is the smartest way to climb.
This book includes many priceless details and suggestions for any high altitude alpine climber.
By this book Yury Pritzker shows not only how to climb Everest, but how to transform your dream into reality; and by his live he proves that this book not only a book, but real story of success.
