Pete Murray surpasses and Expands,

4 and a half stars, but he's an Aussie, so I'll round up for him.
Feeler was good. This, is a whole new step. The general standard of this album is much higher than "Feeler". He's expanded his songwriting, added less transparent lyrics, and experimented a little. The guitaring is catchier and more melodic, and his voice is a smooth as ever, but more controlled and more emotionally charged than on Feeler. While there aren't any weak tracks, there are some standouts such as "Class A", "Fly With You" and "George's Helper". All in all, a faster more upbeat album than Feeler, but still not without a slow gem every now and then. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys relaxing soft-rock.

How Pete Murray hasn't gotten more recognition and success in the US is beyond me. This album is fantastic and I recommend it to anyone. The song writing is stellar and Pete's vocals are soulful and his range and style vary from song to song. Go get this album and you will not be disappointed.
