4 and a half stars, but he's an Aussie, so I'll round up for him.

Feeler was good. This, is a whole new step. The general standard of this album is much higher than "Feeler". He's expanded his songwriting, added less transparent lyrics, and experimented a little. The guitaring is catchier and more melodic, and his voice is a smooth as ever, but more controlled and more emotionally charged than on Feeler. While there aren't any weak tracks, there are some standouts such as "Class A", "Fly With You" and "George's Helper". All in all, a faster more upbeat album than Feeler, but still not without a slow gem every now and then.

I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys relaxing soft-rock.

How Pete Murray hasn't gotten more recognition and success in the US is beyond me. This album is fantastic and I recommend it to anyone. The song writing is stellar and Pete's vocals are soulful and his range and style vary from song to song. Go get this album and you will not be disappointed.

I stumbled across his album in my music library and have not been able to turn it off. I'm not quite sure how I came across his music in the first place, but I'm sure glad I did. I love his sound. Definitely a keeper in my books.

Pete Murray is Australia's answer to the likes of Jack Johnson, Mason Jennings. Very versatile with some mellow acoustic sounds and some old fashioned rock mixed in. He is simple and good. Hugely popular down under.
