This band do excellelent metalcore,this album has a consistant sound throughout,if you can get a listen to comatose then you will get the idea,although it is the best track.One for fans of Parkway drive and Evergreen terrace,the sound is simple and raw,it has that live quality australian bands are good at capturing.Some may find the vocals a bit coarse,but personally I find it matches the music well.Also check out I killed the prom queen,Carpathian and Mourning tide.Its not often that aussies lead the way,but the metalcore scene here has to be the best on earth right now,even if these guys have moved to America?Well worth a listen.

Day Of Contempt are the Hardcore kings of Australia, constantly laying waste to stages across OZ and now the world(currently touring USA w/Throwdown,Terror and Everytime I Die).See Through The Lies is the album that is going to firmly place them on the world hardcore map,with it's sheer brutality and heartfelt intensity.DOC have taken the magic of their debut EP Where Shadows Lie and set there phasers from stun to devestation.
Each track kicks serious ass,stand-out tracks being one by one,see through the lies and nothing remains.If you like Hatebreed,Maroon,Reprisal and of course Throwdown then check this out.
