Charles Ghigna (FATHER GOOSE) is the author of more than 50 award-winning books from Random House, Disney, Hyperion, Scholastic, Simon & Schuster, Abrams and other publishers. My son is 5.3 yrs. After reading through it twice together he was able to read it by himself. The graphics enable the reader to envision why a homonym is a homonym. The words are nicely spaced and easy to read. I had the same experience with Sunshine,Moonshine which is another of the books in the Early Step into Reading series. I highly recommend it.

My seond graders loved it! A teacher's delight. It's the best book of playful homonyms I have seen in my twenty-two years of teaching. Wish I had found it sooner!

I used this book to introduce high-level pre-schoolers to homonymns. The illustrations made the lesson fun and was an excellent teaching tool from cover to cover.
