I purchased I SEE YOUR DREAM JOB based solely on its title. The author's personal story is extremely well written and enjoyable to read but what really amazed me was Part 2 of the book.

I have been struggling at my job for years, feeling unfulfilled and meaningless. Sue Frederick's book has pointed me in the right direction and given me hope. She offers an explanation of why I have been so miserable and then presents insights, techniques and questions to assist me in determining which path to take. For the first time, in a very long time, I know there is a purpose to my life.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who is searching for "something more".

Sue Frederick has written an insightfull book full of methods to help everyone realize their life's purpose. Not only does Sue Frederick provide visionary tools to figure out what you were put here to do, she gives practical, common sense guidelines to put you on your path. After reading this book, you will be raring to go to start your new life.

I found myself trying to figure out where all my friends and family fit it to the life paths she writes about. Reading this book also made me look back at turning points in my life with greater clarity and understanding. Fun and easy to read, I couldn't put the book down.

For the past 10 years I have been constantly asking what is it I am supposed to be doing, what is my soul purpose? why have I never felt satisfied in my career? my life! there must be more to life than this! Then I found Sue's book, and I can honestly say that it has completely changed the way I look at my life. As a parent of a young adult in a mental health crisis, you may be doing your relative a real favor by absorbing what the book has to say about possible career paths derived from being yourself. A person in a mental health crisis knows a lot about pain. This book advises you to consider your pain as your career fuel. Choose the right time to open up this career path dialogue, when your relative is well along the road to recovery. Forcing the issue too soon can provoke a crisis, as my husband and I learned the hard way last year.

For most people, further education or training in a field of interest is the key to eventually working at a job in a field that they love. For young people who have lost precious years due to a mental health crisis, their sense of self worth needs a boost, which can actually provide a wonderful window of opportunity to get started or get re-positioned in something they love while still young.

Numerology has been used for thousands of years to tell us who we are and what our life path may look like based on the vibrational energy of the numbers 1 to 9, 11 and 22. Vibrational energy is the basis today of the new field of energy medicine, which offers many exciting healing possibilities. Although the book is not at all about healing, nonetheless it has useful healing possibilities.

In addition to counting physical objects, numbers have a spiritual meaning that resonates with us at an unconscious level, according to sixth century Greek mathematician, Pythagoras.

I am currently unhappy with my work, but not for the reasons I thought. I am in the right field, I'm a systems engineer. But the job I have right now is too much administration and not enough engineering. My favorite engineering job was a Level 3 Support engineer because I solved problems all day. Since I was Level 3, I didn't have to talk to the customers and could just play with the computer. The level 2 engineers would come to me with issues and I would work with them to solve it. Then they would go back to the customer.

This book gave my number as a 9. This is someone who wants to be a humanitarian. This is TOTALLY NOT me. When I read over the profiles, I'm a 4. Interesting, when I did my name, I am a 4. All I can think of is that I was born pre-mature and maybe my 'real' birthdate was a 4. The other thing is I'm a twin. My twin isn't a 9 either. She's definitely a 6.

My husbands number was an 8. And he is SO much an 8. It got that right. I also loved the cycle numbers. I'm in a 7 year, so two more years for a change. That did co-incide with my plan for this job. When I took it a year ago,I committed to a 3 year committment to my management. My husband also had a big career change in 2009 which was a 9th year in the cycle for him. His career has exploded since then.

Some right stuff and some wrong stuff. But thought provoking. It's always good to get a new perspective on work if your work is not working.
