This book is a timeline of history from the Early Civilizations through the Middle Ages for children from 4th to 8th grade. It is primarily the history of Western Civilization. The purpose is twofold: 1) develop gestalt imagery for language comprehension and critical thinking 2) teach an imagined timeline for history
The paragraphs are written to support the 'Visualizing and Verbalizing for Language Comprehension and Thinking (V/V) Program. Each Flight-section has five paragraphs and five higher order thinking (HOTS) questions per paragraph. The first question is generally a factual recall question. The remaining four questions are questions of main idea, conclusion, inference, and prediction.
