This is a great book. Just buy it somewhere else for about $15 new. $75 is ridiculous.

As a horticulturist of CA desert native flora, in some cases I have found this book useful, but it is lacking a lot of critical information. I use it as sort of a guideline, but by no means is it a "bible" for seed propagation-especially when taking difficult to germinate California natives into consideration. The book is nicely done, however a revision with more species and greater detail (some species require different/additional treatment) would make it far more useful.
