I planted these in a container and was pleasantly surprised by how well they grew. It's my first attempt at a garden, mixing container vegetables and herbs with flowers in the garden by the front door. These are still blooming (in early October) and the flowers have added a lot to the garden.

I planted far too many seeds in one container and didn't add any fertilizer (a very cheap organic fertilizer I found at Walmart) until really late in the summer - I'm new at this, so they didn't produce as much as they probably would have - though we still got three large spaghetti squash for us and three or four chewed up while still small, probably by the big brown bunny who lives at the edge of the yard, not to mention many, many beautiful big squash blossoms peeping out of the shrubbery. If these will grow for me, they'll grow for anyone.

Seeds are 2 years old, not fresh stock. The seeds are spendy...about $5. I will still use them this summer. I just wish that sort of information would be available before the purchase.

It was kind of unusual for me to buy seeds at Amazon, but I was looking for this cultivar and couldn't find it in the nurseries or online seed outlets. I only plated 10 seeds and it seems that they had a decent germination rate (approximately, 60-70%). Now I already have a number of pumpkins on the vines and they appear to be the right cultivar. The vines are very vigorous, 3 month after seeding they are about 30 feet long. Will update the review after harvest.

I am growing this in a container on my patio and although it had a rough start - a really hot couple of days right after I transplanted outside - it's doing great.

It's still a little on the small side but has 4 little fruits and many healthy leaves. I'm excited to see how it fares over the summer and into Fall/Winter.

It is now August in Mohave County AZ. I have a good 6 large brown squash on my plant. Just waiting for the stems to start turning brown so I know they are ready. Can't wait to taste these yummy organic Butternuts. This was with two seeds planted. I highly recommend these seeds for your garden.

I have been looking for these seeds for some time. I was glad to finally find them since we have loved the squash when grown years ago. The seeds sprouted within days and are now well on their way to blooming. Looking forward to eating them this fall.

If you've never had spaghetti squash you must try it. You can actually use it to replace spaghetti. Better tasting, healthier and so easy to grow!
