Great Compilation!, May 21, 2008
This review is from: Seeds (Audio CD)
These are 3 great CD's, but they are definitely a reflection of the band's past accomplishments. Since any one of these CD's came out they have acquired a new bassist and truly refined their sound. The songs themselves are becoming classic staples in the jamband community, and the band is really picking up steam. I would suggest seeing them live, and then pick up this album. I wish they would have just thrown in Rock & Roll Band to show off their live show. It is definitely their most polished album to date. These are all good, but the production quality is simply not up to the band's current standards (obviously.) This is a great box set containging amazing songwriting, nothing more, nothing less. If you already own these albums, definately no need for this, but they were impossible to find for most of us.

Pure and raw low fi, December 16, 2008

Something very intimate about these recordings. All three albums focused fun and triumphant. The sounds timeless, when was this made? 1960 or 1990. Having seen many live shows then finding this 3CD, its become my favorite TLG album.
