Product Description

This quick growing oat grass supplies your cats with extra vitamins and minerals. Be sure to plant in a pot indoors that your pets can't knock over. This helps keep them away from your other plants, but don't let them have an unlimited supply.

I purchased the sweet oats catgrass for my cat Baby. It's easy to grow and your cat will love it. The grass only takes 3 to 4 days before it's ready for your cat to enjoy. Baby likes the sweet oats grass and also enjoys laying in it from time to time. I have tried both sweet oats and wheat catgrass and Baby prefers the sweet oats. I would highly recommend the sweet oats catgrass to anyone with cats.

The seeds sprouted quickly and I had a crop of nice thick grass for my cat within 2 weeks. He loves it!

ILLEGAL agricultural product confiscated by US Customs.
Seeds shipped from Singapore, and the product was confiscated at US Customs by the Department of Agriculture.
Seller did not have the appropriate authorization to ship this type of product into the U.S. I received an empty packet that had been opened by US Customs... the contents removed... and replaced with a letter from the DOA stating that it was illegal to bring this product into the U.S. The letter states that the buyer (me) could face criminal penalties. This listing should be taken down!!! Very disappointed. Order at your own risk.

I have an indoor cat who loves the smell of the outdoors, but is unable to go out due to safety reasons. I wanted something that was healthy for her, that would give her the outdoors, but bring it inside! So i went with this stuff --
not only did it help with her stomach problems, but it also seemed to make her extremely happy!
I dont know any cat that would object to being offered catgrass.

The oat grass seed was shipped from Singapore and was infested with little black bugs of an unknown species. We put the seeds and the infested envelope in which they arrived in a water-filled bag to drown the vermin. Unfortunately, we did not notice the bugs until they were crawling around our kitchen counter!

Update:
I bought three bags and I open the 2nd bag and they are so good. I think I must've bought bad bag somehow... I love them now.

OLD:
I don't pretend to have green thumb but I always grow cat gress for my cat with hairball. However, if I put 100s seeds in a container, maybe I will get 10 grow if I am lucky. Some batches gives me only one. I am going to supermarket tomorrow to get me local grocery cheap seeds which gives me so much more grass for the same amound of seeds..

Indeed, it is very easy to grow. The sprouts show up after only a couple of days; it gives you a nice sense of accomplishment. Once I finally persuaded my cat to try it -- it took a few days on my hands and knees faking that I was eating it and enjoying it -- he now loves it. The only downside is that I have to clean up a lot of green, grassy pukes now, although that sort of was my purpose in giving it to him in the first place (hairball relief). Why not give it a try? It's so darn cheap, after all. If you get some nice, decorative little planters, it actually makes a pretty accessory for your home. I'd get at least two pots, though, and stagger their plantings about 10-15 days apart so that you always have nice-looking grass on hand. It's not so pretty when it starts to turn yellow and brown.

Great if you cat likes grass. I buy these, and red wheat, to mix it up. You have to buy a pot and soil, and make sure it is big enough not to get tipped over.
