Cam and Alex's powers as T*Witches are growing stronger, and their magick is being used more often than ever. They still have struggles going on in their normal life -- and they still don't know the full truth about their parents. But on Coventry Island, danger lurks. The powerful warlock Karsh has been captured by whom Ileana fears most -- Thantos. She doesn't know if she should embark to save him, and Karsh's time is running out. And Cam feels that her best friend, Beth, has a different attitude toward her. Even though she's a witch, her best friend means everything toward her. And all the while, Alex must face a terrible consequence if Cam's troubles may end up taking their lives. Is the threat more dangerous than it ever was before? T*Witches #3: Seeing Is Deceiving was the most amazing book in this new series yet. I didn't expect it to be this good, and the T*Witches series just keeps getting better and better.

They are having a great time doing magick and helping to even stop a robbery at the mall. However on Conventry Island things aren't going so well. Because of Ileana's impatience Karsh had been kidnapped by Fredo and now Karsh is in the hands of the one person Ileana fears worst---Thantos, the uncle of Cam and Alex who wants to destroy them. If Ileana is careful and lets her impatience rule her again she will walk straigh into Thantos's trap and the twins will be without protection...Meanwhile Cam is having problems of her own. She finds herself growing more distant from her friend Beth everyday after Alex came onto the scene. Plus guess who turns out to be the subsitute teacher?...the person she and Alex caught shoplifting! And it seem this Cecila Webb has cast a spell over Beth and now it looks like Beth is walking straight into a trap. However Cam seems to just keep doing all the wrong things to repair her friendship. When Alex is tricked to go to an all night pary, she suddenly finds herself and Beth in great danger when they have a comfrontation with Thantos. Will Alex have to make the ultimate sacrafice to saver her sister and her best friend Beth?

This is by far the best T*Witches book. The next one is pretty good too. Can't wait to read more of this series!!

This book was EXCELLENT! Cam and Alex are getting more powerful in the third book. Beth gets involved in a fake charity work and is held prisoner for Lord Thantos. He wants to lure Cam to Beth but gets Alex instead. When Cam notices that Alex is out of her bed she gets lured into Lord Thato's trap as well.
Well, won't tell you any more but if you are considering on buying this book you should really get it. It's worth it!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Personality swap...a lil bit, November 29, 2004
This review is from: Seeing Is Deceiving (T*Witches) (Paperback)
In this book, Alex seems more calm and Cam seems on edge. The twins seem to switch personalities here which is quite interesting. Also their uncle seems to want them really bad. And who is this Shane guy? Also, someone from Alex's past is back. Read the book and find out.

3.0 out of 5 stars More of the same.., July 22, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Seeing Is Deceiving (T*Witches) (Paperback)
Seeing is Deceiving, the third book in the T*Witches series, is a continuation of the first two books. The twins are forced to learn more about their powers, as their magickal guardians are unable to bail them out in their latest misadventure. Camryn, the "sunny-side-up" twin, is jeopardizing her friendship with her self-centered behavior. Alex is just as sarcastic and angst-ridden as ever, as she slowly adjusts to a life of plenty and security. The girls face off against the bad guys and do their best to save the day. Unfortunately, their personalities and their relationships with the secondary characters in the series are mostly ignored in this book. If you enjoyed the first two books in the series, this is more of the same...

5.0 out of 5 stars Do you want a adventure? Then this is a good book for you!, January 4, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Seeing Is Deceiving (T*Witches) (Paperback)
T*Witches Seeing is Deceiving by H.B. Gilmour and Randi Reisfled is a fantasy story with two witch characters. In this story the two witches are twins that were separated when they were born for a very good reason. Artemis and Apolla were adopted and their names changed to Alexandra and Camryn. Their uncle Thantos wants the twins to do evil deeds. The two sisters help each other out in this story by using magic. I would recommend this book to a young reader who likes fantasy and magic. I woudl also recommend this book to a young reader who like mysteries or happy endings.

4.0 out of 5 stars Twins...Friends...Witches..., October 31, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Seeing Is Deceiving (T*Witches) (Paperback)
This book by R. B. Gilmour and Randi Reisfield is a wonderful fiction story about two twin witches. They have just found each other, and have been living together for not much over a year. Cam and Alex are living in Cam's family's house, and have started to hang out together, but the effect of the time the twins have been sharing together has resulted in a fight between Cam and Beth. Then Cam's best friend Beth does something drastic that could ruin their friendship.

My favorite part of this book is that there is never a boring point. Also it always leaves so many questions in your head, but I didn't like the fact that they made Beth so easy to fool. I still would recommend this book to others though, but make sure you read the first two books before you read this one.

My favorite character in this book is Alex because she always seems so wise, knows what to do. What I would like to know though is if Alex and Beth ever become good friends. My favorite part of this book was when they said on page #231 "I feel it. I know it. She's alive", and the reason I like this part is that it leaves so many questions in your head. I enjoyed this book and it is a nice story about friendship.
