This book assists the reader in learning about the powers of vision and it's influence over your decision making process. How to identify and respond to images obtained by the physical eye and how to manipulate positive images, produced by the intuitive imaging process of the brain. An excellent book for those who want to be the best they can be. You are what you think you are!

5.0 out of 5 stars Visuzliation is thinking in images, December 19, 2008
This review is from: Seeing With The Mind's Eye: The History, Techniques and Uses of Visualization (Paperback)
The human mind is a slide projector with an infinite number of slides in its library, an instant retrieval system and an endlessly cross-referenced subject catalog. The inner image we show ourselves form our lives, whether as memories, fantasies, dreams or visions. Inner images supply the creative force in art, spirituality, psychology, healing, parapsychology and daily life, but they have never been studied comprehensively. This book opens the mind's eye to the inner world, the most significant, richly illustrated such exploration ever published.

There are two important 20th century concepts...visualization and meditation. Meditation clears and concentrates the mind; visualization puts an image in it which can profoundly affect the life. What is seeing in the mind's eye? It is only recently that this powerful, often fearful, question is beginning to be answered.

Visualization is the way we think. Before words, images were. It is the heart of the bio-computer. The human brain programs and self-programs through its images. It is the ultimate consciousness tool.
