About the Author
Ann O'Hanlon has been a magnet and mentor to thousands, opening up the world in all its richness and detail to artists and non-artists alike. Head of the Art Department at Dominican College in San Rafael, CA, she retired to give her own kind of free-wheeling workshops in perception and self discovery through looking at nature and the making of art. O'Hanlon believed that each person's deep well of creativity was there to be explored and released whether the person was artist or non-artist. Born in Kentucky, world traveled, O'Hanlon lived in Mill Valley, CA where she continued to lead workshops until nearly the end. She died in 1998 at the age of ninty. Her work is carried on by Sight and Insight, Inc.
