I have attached a video capture from the camera, which demonstrates the sensor resolution and frame rate.

Pros:

+ Most affordable thermal camera ever built and sold, by a very large margin.
+ Image resolution is much higher than typical "low cost" (under $2000) thermal cameras, including the FLIR One.
+ Very light and compact, yet sturdy
+ Works with Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy S5, and Galaxy Tab S (although the app on the Tab S has frustrating screen orientation issues, it is usable).
+ Easily capture still images and video clips.
+ As of the December 2, 2014 app update, the temperatures are no longer offset by nearly 100 degrees, and appear to be more-or-less accurate.

Cons:

- Low frame rate.
- The video skips a frame or two whenever the camera runs its self-calibration (coincides with a soft clicking noise)
- App is buggy. I have seen video corruption, black screens, and crashes. These are thankfully uncommon, and can be fixed by restarting the app and/or reseating the camera in the Android device.
- Accuracy of temperatures is questionable, as uniform surfaces appear as a gradient. Supposedly Seek Thermal is working on solutions to this.
- As of the December 2, 2014 app update, the emissivity selection control is visible, but seems to have no effect on anything.
- No integrated visible-light camera, and the support for overlaying your Android device's normal camera is still very crude.

Other thoughts:

* Camera makes a soft clicking noise every few seconds when powered on. The documentation explains this is a normal part of the ongoing calibration process.

3 Stars = "It's okay"

Here's why I give it 3 stars...

1.) PACKAGING:
The packaging is quite nice and colorful, and makes it easy to repackage if necessary.

2.) CARRYING CASE:
It comes with a VERY nice little case that I have on a keyring and carry around with my keys (As of yesterday). I threw it in my toolbag at work and had no worries about it opening up or being damaged. At first, the case was difficult to open, but I pried the tab open with a key and now after a few times, it's much easier to open by hand, but also very tightly locked. It has rubber inside that is molded to fit the camera, but the case is not waterproof, so don't drop it in the toilet or something. If I wanted to, I could easily put a bead of silicone around the perimeter and waterproof the case myself.

*** Adding a silicone or rubber seal to the case perimeter for waterproofing would be nice.

3.) CAMERA BODY:
- The device seems to be durable, compact and lightweight. I suspect you could drop it and it wouldn't break, but I don't know what is inside, and if it needs/has dampers or not.
- I like the design as it looks like a miniature handheld camera, a design that lets people know it's a camera, but wonder why it's attached to the phone externally.
- While the case it comes with is nice (See #4), for those who want to carry the camera with no case, it would be nice if there was a little rubber or silicone cap that could be slid on and off of the USB connector to protect it, but still remain connected to the camera body without getting in the way.

My camera appears to have a severe light or thermal leak. Only the top 1/3 of the image is reasonably accurate. The bottom 1/3 is washed out and doesn't work at all for low temperatures. This is a low resolution imager so having 1/3 to 2/3 of the picture washed out is crippling. I will update if there's a fix or a better replacement.

For example, a 62F target reads 61F on top and 70F on the bottom. A frozen popsicle reads 7F on top and 36F on the bottom. When looking at a dark sky, the top 1/3 of the image is black and the bottom 1/3 is white.

Update:
My camera was definitely mostly blind in the lower half of the image. Not only was it poor at seeing cold temperatures, but it was entirely blind to high temperatures.
Make sure you thoroughly test your camera within Amazon's return period. Do NOT purchase it directly from Thermal because they are currently "slammed" and can not process your return request in a timely manner.

Got mine today. Was unexpected since I never got a shipping notice or anything. Comes extremely well packaged and comes with a hard plastic storage case that I think will protect it from any day to day mishaps.
It's the size of your thumb and once you install the app (android) it plugs in and just works. No setup, no futzing around with anything. It's just plug in and go.
The thermal pictures are not very clear but you can def see objects from across a 15' room. It seems to click every second or two like a shutter is engaging but I have no idea what it is doing. There are multiple color schemes to help with visibility. It seems quite sensitive. As an example, I could see the 2X6's in my ceiling behind the sheetrock and the temp difference between the wood and the cavity between. I can make out individual light bulbs from across the room and could even see the motor heat in an air filter from 5' away. I can see the heat emanating from a CFL bulb that was turned off over 10 minutes ago.
There is the ability to split screen the image with one half thermal and one half regular. They don't seem to line up but I chalk that up to the phone camera being located at the other end of the USB connector. It's close enough to see what you are looking at on each side of the screen though.
Overall, I am quite happy for the $200 it cost. I am amazed this level of IR is available at this price point.
