5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME!
When I first started reading this book I was a litle confused since Hunter was narrating it, but then i really got into it!!! I loved the fact that she had changed from Morgan's point of (Morgan happens to be my name too!) to Hunter's, we finally got to really understand his feelings! I found myself so involved in the book that my emotions were really strong! At one point...

1.0 out of 5 stars ATROCIOUS french, (and series getting worse)
If you wrote a book which included characters who speak another language, would you want to make sure the phrases you wrote were accurate?
How about if you were an editor or publisher? Would you care about accurate translations?
Seeker is a book in which nobody (except this reader) cared about such issues. It was so annoying that it stopped being funny. I'm...

But I just have to say that this was ANOTHER GREAT book in the Sweep series and I am impatiently waiting for the next one to come out!

4.0 out of 5 stars Hunter Seeks His Parents, October 21, 2003
By

(REAL NAME)
Hunter has been told that his parents, who have been missing for eleven years, are in Canada. In this book, he travels North to find them.

This is the first book of Sweep that is not from Morgan's viewpoint. Instead, we get small snatches of her in the chapter openings.

All is not well for Hunter. He tracks his parents to a poor backwater. It is here that he learns the truth of his parents' flight their abandonment of him and his siblings, the fate of his hometown, and what his father is really up to now.

But as Hunter tries to confront all the new revelations, the Council sends him to investigate a young witch who is collecting the true names of things and people, and writing them down. He even discovers a possible link in Morgan's past. How can Hunter handle it all? You will have to read it to find out.

But if family and job were not enough, Hunter also discovers a secret about his life and position that he never suspected. I guess that will be the subject of a future book.

Although this book differs from the rest by being from a different viewpoint, it works very well in the series and should not be a disappointment to fans of the Morgan-oriented stories.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book!!!!, April 8, 2002

This was another great book in the Sweep Series, I've read all ten of the books in the series in two weeks. At the begining of this book I was a little confused because I kept forgetting that in this book Hunter was narrorating it instead of Morgan, but after I got that straightened out I really got into this book. This book is all about Hunter's troubles when he is finally reunited with his father. That's about all I can say because I don't want to ruin the book for any one. I can't wait for the next books in the series to be published.

5.0 out of 5 stars Three Words Why This Book Rocks: Hunter's View Point, January 9, 2004
I LOVE Hunter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If he was a real person Lord knows what I'd do lol. Hunter has finally located his father, and when Morgan realizes he'll be gone for weeks, she makes a big step in her life. . . Except Hunter pauses, much to his own regret, and the plan isn't all followed through.
Hunter is disappointed when he finds his father, weak and unhealthy, but when he finds out tragic news he is tempted to return home. The Council takes advantage of the cool Seeker's positioning to send him on a mission to investigate a young witch who has been collecting the true names of things and people. It is this witch who will cause him to betray Morgan . . . I really would like to tell you, but I wouldn't want to spoil it, would I. Let's just say I literally threw the book at the wall once I found out what he did, then picked it up and tried to continue several times but again threw it and nearly ripped the book apart in utter frustration. The library, I believe, was not happy. READ THIS BOOK. HUNTER ROCKS. His thoughts are much less infuriatingly collected and calm. Come on, you know you want to. This was my favorite book in the series, besides the one about Morgan's daughter.

4.0 out of 5 stars Amazing POV Change, June 28, 2002
A Kid's Review
I was amazed at the POV change in this book, I had read bad reviews about if from other people, but I loved the charcter change. Being soulmates is Plural- more than one and there are two parts to the Morgan/Hunter story. I loved reading this book

5.0 out of 5 stars I'm reading Sweep again!, April 28, 2002
After "Strife" I was kind of disappointed, but "Seeker" is soooo much better. Written in a male point of view you finally understand the world through Hunter's eyes. You realize that he's not mysterious at all, just a regular guy. I love the way he talks about his love (and lust) for Morgan! The story has him finally getting in touch with (both?) of his parents IN Canada.Leaving Morgan behind. Also a female witch gets a little too touchy with him. Will he forget Morgan? Or will he taste something new? I think that this is the best one yet! READ IT!!!

First ill just tell you that its a little weird all of the sudden reading it through hunter, but youll get used to it.Its basically about how finnally hunter meets his dad,but his dad isnt all what he remembored him as.Hes also worried about his dad because hes getting into a little dark majick(but for a very big reason)Also while hes there he has to investigate a woman who is rumored to be writing down true names of things.Even though it was a little weird reading it through him,i really liked it.Ill warn you know though, when you finish this book you will probably be mad at hunter but youll have to read it to find out why!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fresh Point of View, April 4, 2002

I have to say that I really enjoyed this installment in the "Sweep" series. It was refreshing to hear the story from another character's point of view, aside from in various Books of Shadows entries. Hunter's anguish is quite apparent, as well as the emotional and mental strain his father is experiencing. The only reason that I don't give the book 5 stars is that it didn't seem quite as dramatic and high-paced as the previous "Sweep" books. I realize that they were exploring some fairly complex emotional issues, but it seemed a little too quiet for me. Otherwise, another excellent book from Cate Tiernan.

4.0 out of 5 stars Seeker (Sweep, 10), April 19, 2005
This book was awesome! I liked the fact that it was from Huter's point of view this time and not Morgan's. I am glad that Hunter found his father and i highly recommend any one who hasn't read or as partially read this series to read it because it is very good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Quite Refreshing, Really, November 3, 2004
By
This book is from the point of view of Hunter Niall, Morgan's boyfriend. I absolutely suggest this book for all MorganXHunter lovers. Although it doesn't really include Morgan that much, it is quite clear how Hunter feels about her. Just like each character in Sweeps, Hunter has his own history. His parents abandoned him when he was quite young. Now he got news that they might be somewhere in Canada. He might be reunited with his parents after imagining, hoping it so many times, but it means the possibility of leaving Morgan. He located his parents, but their reunion is not the happy, warm one that he had imagined...
