Don't bother with this study unless you're willing to be truly honest with yourself and with God. But if you're ready to take a good hard look in the mirror and allow God to search your heart, this is a wonderful tool for personal revival. The study is thoroughly rooted in scripture and broken into very manageable daily segments over the course of the 12 weeks.

This is such a wonderful book if you feel you have drifted away from the Lord, or if you feel that you would like to go deeper with Him. I drifted away from the Lord for about a year and got myself involved in all kinds of sinful things. "Out of the blue" one day I received a free sample chapter of this book in the mail. Tired of living the way I was and experiencing the consequences of my disobedience, I opened my heart back up to God and worked the chapter. I soon bought the book and it really helped me to "re-bond" with my Father and I'm so grateful. This book is full of conviction (with hope) and godly wisdom. There are lots of personal stories in there, so you won't feel like you're the only one who has stumbled in your walk. There are also a lot of questions to help you do some prayerful soul-searching and personal application. This book is certainly not just for men, or women. It can easily be used by both. Be blessed!

I thank God for introducing me to such a study. It is such an awesome, honest and reflective study of the Word and Heart of God for His people. The study is geared toward women but is also excellent for men who are seeking to have a closer walk with the Lord. God wants a revival of our churches which begins with a revival of each individual. We selected this for our women's study group. This material helps one to take an honest look on the inside to discover what is keeping us from Seeking Him. This is best taught with the video that can be purchased with it.

then this is your book. It's a wookbook designed to find road blocks to having the spiritual life you want. Even though I worked it in a group, I think it would work equally well as a solitary study.

I must warn you, it will make you look at yourself with unvarnished honesty. Some of the excerises will make you squirm! However, if you have the guts and honesty to face yourself, it will help you find your way back.

B. Story

Seeking Him was purchased for a ladies only home Bible study group. There are 15 members, all of whom are believers in Christ, but of various ages and levels of spiritual maturity. We prepare the lesson ahead of time at home during the week, then discuss each question as a group. It will take us longer to complete the study, but speed is not the object. A closer walk with Jesus is the goal for each of us. Seeking Him provides an excellent, thought provoking study that is guiding us into serious reflection and soul searching. All 15 of us would highly recommend this study for other groups!!!

I used this study in a Sunday School class. It is absolutely solid and, if followed as written, will draw you to the bedrock issues of genuine personal revival. Nothing in the book indicates an orientation toward women. I would recommend doing it in a small group setting instead of Sunday School to allow for full discussion (90 minutes/lesson is suggested by the book). Some sort of accountability to ensure that you don't glide over uncomfortable questions would also be wise. The companion DVD is not necessary but could enhance. Overall: Outstanding!

This study is written to help the reader recognize their need for a closer intimacy with God. I've only read and completed the first week in the lesson, but it penetrates the heart and reveals areas of sin and weakness, leading the reader to depend upon the Lord in every area of life. It is an excellent study for friends who want to draw nearer to God, experience accountablity to and with each other, forgiveness for others and self and all together know and live their own personal revival as God changes their hearts by His Spirit's work.

This is an incredible Bible Study on personal revival. Over 70 women in our church are involved in this study. If you want lasting lifechange, this study is for you. This study is heart surgery.

I am only into the second week, but this bible study is one that hits home. It is easy to read and get into. We (a group of teachers)are doing this study before school and it sets the tempo for the rest of the day. All of us are benefiting, thus far, and developing a closer walk with our unfathomable God. I would recommend it to anyone who wants an "attitude chech" with God.

This book is exactly what you would expect from Nancy DeMoss. It is rich with scripture and gets down to the point right away. I found this book to be life changing. Our bible study group is enjoying it very much. We have a bigger group this session than we have had in two years. I highly recommend this book.
