Great introduction to sufism,

I read this book as an attempt on my part to begin to understand the principles of the Sufi religion of the middle east. Although sufism extends for the most part around the world. Even if you're just looking for a little self enlightenment, this book can help provide it. It has a quite a few Sufi sayings and fables (ala aesop) accompanying a well thought out and well educated text. Although only around 105 pages long this text is remarkable easily understood and can be an excellent intro to middle eastern philosophy. I found it just fascinating. If you like fables, buy it. If you like philosophy, buy it. If you are seeking enlightenment, buy it.
