I bought this belt three years ago and constantly use it to relieve my bulging disc problem.
It provides the right amount of pressure where it is needed via its inflatable areas.
I dont think this belt will work with bulging disc problems that are above the hip area. I think it primary design was for lower back use.
I'm preparing to buy a second one since my first one does not hold the air pressure as long as when it was new three years ago.
Recommended.

I use this belt frequently and it helps me a LOT. The booklet that comes with it is an excellent resource for those of us who suffer from back pain, too. Highly recommend it.

other reviewers incorrectly assume that this is a "support" product....it is not....rather, it supplies a perfectly placed and relatively stiff cushion on the lower lumbar while sitting, TV or car...where so much sitting stiffness occurs....will be great on the plane....my back is in fact eased by butt bouncing (and pulling) against a back stiffener

This is my third belt. I sit all day at work, and wearing the belt, if nothing else, reminds me to sit up straight. The first belt was given to me by my daughter with the remark, "this is better than back surgery, mom". My back no longer crunches when I turn ... When this belt is "done", I will be ordering my 4th one !!

The belt is the absolute best thing I have ever used to stay comfortable while driving long distances in the car. This is my 3rd belt as I have them in each car and can't leave home without it.

I bought this product for my boyfriend who has back issues. He loves it. It is just the right size and fits comfortably. He is able to adjust the fit around his waist and add air in order to increase the "cush" level on his lower back.

what I need to know is what size waist does it go to cause I am pretty big and need the limit of what waist it can go up to.

My order was delivered on time. I have an old back relief support that I have been using for more than 5 years and have
no problems with it. I ordered the same back relief support last year and for some reasons it fails, the air inside deflates
and I have to pump it every two hours. I recently ordered another one last month since it is not that expensive, guess
what, the same problems, I have two deffective back relief support. My five year old back support works better than these
two. These two back support were probably quality inventory rejects. I will never buy this product again from Amazon. I will
buy it from the actual manufacturer.

I ordered and received the belt promptly; tried it and do not like it and it does not help my back problem, it is very uncomfortable to sit in a chair and it does not stay in place if you wear it while trying to do house work. I cannot return it as there is a 20% restocking fee and the return postage would amount to almost as much as the cost of the belt; guess I just threw $15.00 away.
