I saw this on the Dr. Oz show and ordered it. I have diabetes and have been looking for a natural sweetener that doesn't send my blood glucose through the roof and that tastes good. I think this is it! I have tried this for baking, in my coffee and oatmeal and it is really great tasting. No sugar spikes either! Now I can have a brownie occasionally.

After watching Dr Oz show, immediately I called several of my local store in order to get several teas that had been shared on the show. However with much disguise and disappointment, I couldn't find anyone of the teas nor Coconut Palm Sugar. I went online thru eBay and then Amazon and found most of the items that I had been looking for. The seller ship quickly and shipped the actual products. I love the the products I received.

      What is the calorie count in palm sugar? Can someone tell me the calorie and carb count?
      It's very similar to sugar, 1 tsp comes at about 15 calories and 4 gr. of carb. What makes it the next best thing is it's low GI level, making it appropriate for diabetics and sugar sensitive people.
