Misty in Roots put down one of the best live recordings ever. Reggae at its purest grassroots form without the overcommercialization found in other reggae recordings. Pure and simple rythms, melodies combined with thoughtprovoking lyrics. If you ever buy one reggae-album this should be the one, a must have you will play over and over again.

This is a great album/CD! I had never heard of these guys until a friend played it for me and I was floored. Great mix of studio and live recordings. Good rootsy sound and strong lyrics make this a must have for those seeking out the 70s reggae sounds and vibes. No DJs, no drum machines and no slackness; just pure music played by real musicians.

I have more than 100 CDs of different Reggae Music...., and after Bob Marley (who has no competition)... this is certainly one the best roots reggae bands i ever heard. It's a pety that there's only one CD available .... All songs are tripping. If you like Reggae Music, you will never forgive yourself not buying this one....... My suggestion: Go for it!!.............. JAH RASTAFARI!!

I was smoking a big fat spliff and listening to these grounded reggae sounds --- and I saw the light of the Lion of Judah come down to me and praise the music I was listening to ---> None other that Misty In Roots.

These dudes are the most IRIE and roots purveyors of the REGGAE TUNES to the utmost in brethren sounds!!!

!!! You must buy this CD, mon. Even if you hate reggae now, once you listen to this CD you will undoubtably lay down the rest of your life in praise of his Almighty JAH RASTAFARI!!!, smoking spliffs and dancing all day --- as it is True one love, mon! ----> (((Oneness))).

~ (If I read one more faux rasta write another reggae review trying to be cool, I will jump off the next bridge I see! For real, these guys are the real deal. Its steeped in the UK sound, yet it truly of the Jamaican vibe too. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!)

Musi O Tunya (one of the best recordings ever)!!!! Plus this set contains much, but not all of the Earth album by M.I.R. That Earth album is top notched beginning to end. This one is a plus to that one. If you're into roots get 'em both.
