I See a 4-Star Book,
By
This review is from: Seesaw (Paperback)
After reading Tulip Fever, I thought Deborah Moggach's other titles might be worth a try. Seesaw certainly was. In fact, I found it more compelling than Fever, in many ways. First, the characters were easy to relate to. Taking place in contemporary London, the family was ordinary, albeit somewhat more well off than most. The kidnapping, every parent's worst fear, was very believable. I liked the depth of each character's background story, told from each of their point of view, while keeping the suspense. The long term consequences of the crime were realistic and not often dealt with. I look forward to more of Moggach, both older works and new releases.
