I'll list this in a pro/con format for my own sake.

PROS:

Variety of olympic games to play, reducing repetition.

Quick and easy to get into the game.

Activates on Steam.

Multiplayer works great with friends online.

The games vary in difficulty, with some requiring skill and it makes for good practice and longevity in replaying.

Looks great for a sports game.

Team customisation, though very limited.

Unlockables as you play. Unfortunately limited to the single-player aspect of the game.

Supports both controller and keyboard. Controller is highly recommended for its usage of the analog stick.

CONS:

Online is dead. Not hard to believe. Need friends to play online most likely.

Only 3 graphics options and they're presets; Low, medium and high. AA included though.

OTHER THOUGHTS:

The game can be very repetitive at times, especially if you limit yourself to only the easier challenges, but if you're anything like me, the skill required to master some of the games is pretty much half the fun.

In the end it's actually a genuinely fun game to play and I don't even care for the Olympics.

I was lucky enough to get this game for $1.99. I could end the review right there but I will go on. London 2012 without a doubt is the best Summer Olympics game ever created period.

This game looks great. I was completely blown away by the visuals and presentation. People actually look like people. The stadiums are spot on recreations of their real-life counterparts. It feels like you’re actually taking part in the Olympics even if all of the Olympians are generics which you can customize.

As far as gameplay goes this is the first Olympics game with skill is actually required in order to beat it. In the past the winner whom ever could mashed buttons the fastest. The controls for change actually makes sense and are intuitive.

Overall of you to find this game for a couple of bucks buy it.

It's honestly just a collection of minigames. It's got all your favorite olympic sports in game form, complete with tons of button mashing and lining things up. The keyboard control setup is pretty sub par so make sure you have a controller if you're gonna get this as you can't remap the keyboard keys. I'll be honest, I only got this game for it's music, it's pretty good. If you've played any videogame that has minigames, you know what to expect from this, its just olympic themed.

This game has very nice singleplayer but if you have 2 - 4 controllers it can be nice to play with your friends :-)
It is simply game but some of the disciplines are very difficult. Still it is game for relax.

I like play this game with my friend. It is so much more competitive and you can foster your mate during weight-lifting :-)
(I bought this in sale. So my opinion is not about game vs price)

I recommend to play this game in multiplayer with your friends. But also in singleplayer you will like it. There is lot of fun. I highly recommend use gamepad because keyboard controls are very bad in this game.
