This is the best console game machine ever, amazing graphics,good support and quality games,good performance and anyway,who need a $300 console game when you can get a Dreamcast, two games and the best support? I saw some demos from something called "PS2" and if this is what they got for $300 men they can flush it,as far, the games keep on comming, easy to program this is a game developer dream machine,good work Sega,you got me back....

OK, so the Playstation 2 is finally out, but does it measure up - not if you run the numbers. I will admit that I was saving my money (and had enough) to buy a playstation 2, but once I played it I went with the dreamcast for a few big reasons. First, is the graphics on the playstation 2 better than the dream cast - YES. Are they ... better - NO. When you are buying a PS2 you are basically buying a dreamcast that plays DVD's but it's not worth the money. Let me explain why. The PS2 system is ... by itself, no games, mememory card, or extra controler. So after you have purchased these items you are looking at about ... in purchases (that's estimating you get 3 games like most of the bundle packs offer and including tax). However, with the dreamcast sports pack at it's current price you can get the dreamcast consoul, five games, an extra controler, and a memory card for about ... (I know this because I did it last week). That still leave you about ... dollers left over to either (1) purchase more games, or (2) go buy a good quality DVD player. Don't get me wrong, the PS2 is a good quality system, but it's over priced. Don't buy it for it's DVD capabilities, remember DVD movies run ... to ... and buy and large unless you have a home theater system you won't enjoy the full benefit of a DVD player. So in short, save your money and if you want a really good gaming system - go with the Dreamcast.

This has to be the way to go this holiday season since the Playstation 2 is out of stock until next year.My brother bought his Dreamcast last year for thirty dollars more than this package and didnt get any game with it.Graphics are great and it will rival Playstation "Who".Oops I mean 2 any day.You cant go wrong with this console with 2 of the best sports games ever right out of the box.Great Christmas gift.

Hello Everyone, I would like to be the first to say that this is a real bargain, you get a limited edition black dreamcast and controller, two of the best sports games, nba 2k and nfl2k, and its all for 20 dollars more than the original system! Do the math and buy this!

The Sega Dreamcast is great. I bought this for my baby brother and he loved it. The price is great for both the console and the games. Please do not make the mistake of not buying this "dream" of a system. I just hope that Toysrus will get more in stock because my 3 year old wants a Dreamcast. The game play is very good and it's not to far off the newer systems.
The DC has plenty of great titles to choose from, both new and used. If you snooze you lose--- So people if you are looking for a great and very affordable system, get yours now before they sell out.

A while back I really wanted a Nintendo Gamecube. But, it was [expensive]! Just for the system and a controller. I saved up my Birthday money, christmas money and allowence and only came up to [not enough money]. Darn! I was short [money]! Then I looked in EGM's "Holiday Game Guide 2002" and compared the DC to the GC. I figured that they were almost the same. Luckly, my friend down the street hd th DC so i went over to his house and played on it for a while. Finally, i mady choice. DC it is! Compared to the GC they practically have the same graphics, some of he same games(Craxy Taxi, Sonic 2 which is slightly better than the DC version) the DC had cooler pheriphals(microphone, keyboard, mouse, gun, VMU, Rumble back, go online right out of the box) and some cooler games(Seaman,Sonic Adventure, Vutra Tennis, Marvel vs.Capcom 1&2). So instead i bought a black limited edition DC at a store and bought Vutra Tennis and a VMU. And still had [money] left over. What a Bargan! Months passed and the GC went don to [less money]. And I had 5 games, 2 VMU's, 1 Rumble pack, a web browser and a keyboard. I could have waited for the GC to go down [in cost] and get only the console and the controller or i could have gotten theDC 3 games 2 vmu's and a rumble pack....i'll stick with the DC. Who knows? The GC might even come down [in price].

Wow!!! The Dreamcast system got even better by making a brand new bundle. This bundle includes a special black Dreamcast console and a controller AND two games: NBA2K and NFL2K. The Dreamcast will quickly become one of the best systems ever!!!

Hello. First of all I want to say that I am very happy with this product. I just got it for Christmas about a week ago and haven't stopped playing. I really wanted a PS2 for Christmas and when I found out that I wasn't getting one, I was surely dissapointed. I knew though that I needed a new gaming system becuase believe me, my N64 is getting to be real old. I don't really play it that much anymore and I wanted something with better graphics but I only thought that the PS2 would give me that so I assumed I would be stuck with my N64 forever. Then about a week later I went over to my friend's house and had my first encounter with the Sega Dreamcast. It was amazing. While watching him play I was instantly mezmorized at what I was looking at. The textures and animations are completly stunning. So I started researching this Sega Dreamcast (since PS2 was now definetly out of the option) and I have probally read most of the reviews out there on it and PS2, and overall I have found a overwhelming number of more postive things said about the Sega Dreamcast then the PS2. By now I was really starting to get excited so I asked if I could get this system. While looking around and comparing prices on it, I stumbled across this Limited Edition black Sega Dreamcast. Knowing that this is rare and uncommonly found, I decided to get it. When I opened the box, I immediately knew that I had made the right descision. I popped in NFL2K (which comes with the system) and couldn't believe that this was only a game. Not only are the graphics marvelous on this system, but the sound is fabulous too. It made me wonder whether or not our TV was equipped with DSS. Anyways, to any gamer looking for the absolute best you can buy, go with the Sega Dreamcast (Sega Sports Pack, preferablly) and I don't think you will be sorry. Peace

I bought this sports bundle about a month ago, I couldn't decide to get this or the much cheaper 64. I bought the dreamcast and it was worth it. If u ever played 64 playstaion ect. then you are miussing everything. Dreamcast has way better graphics and the games are better and cost the same or less. I wanted to give this 4 1/2 stars but i could'nt. If u play dreamcast then you'll never want to play anything else again the graphics are about 5 times better than 64 and playstaion. Nfl 2k is the best game i ever played, but nba 2k is just alright. I like the create a player in both games but i don't like the views of nba 2k and it is very difficult to understand. Even though nba 2k is'nt all that nfl 2k is and so is dreamcast so if you are looking for great graphics more than 2 player action (playstaion) and a variety of games that you won't have to save up a year for (n64) than this is what you are looking for. I would have waited for playstaion 2 but ... I don't have that kind of cash. Also if you want multiplayer this is a good thing too you get a speacil black controler so you don't mix it up with the gray controler, but dreamcast also has color controlers. So i really recomend this system to anyone looking for a new system. I also think it was real easy to set up. PS nfl 2k is a great 1-4 player game.

I just got the chance to play one of the Dreamcast for the first time a little while ago. When i did, i was amazed at all it could do.

You can play dreamcast games (sonic is fun, so is jet set radio), but the best comes from how easy it is to do other things with it.

the one thing that could have made it better is DVD playback without to much work. If this system could have that, it would still be big.
