5.0 out of 5 stars takes skill not speed!
I belive the Official Dreamcast Magazine crew said it best: "If you drive like Mr.Magoo in a turbo charged bulldozer you won't get very far." While the idea of faster is better sounds good, you must also factor in control. 2.0 out of 5 stars Hopes dashed
I gobble up every rally game I can get my hands on. When I found Sega Rally 1, I played it till my fingers bled, Although a little to "Arcade-like" Sega Rally 1 was good fun. So I bought Sega Rally 2 without hesitation. Disapointed. This game at the arcade is good fun, but on the PC it's almost undrivable. With my wheel I bounce from wall to wall and all...

I belive the Official Dreamcast Magazine crew said it best: "If you drive like Mr.Magoo in a turbo charged bulldozer you won't get very far." While the idea of faster is better sounds good, you must also factor in control. Taking a sharp corner pushing 150 mph and the accelerator trigger mashed into the controller is not a tactic that will earn you the coveted hidden cars! A good place to look for improvements in your driving abilities is by watching the replays after the races. You can see where you need to slow down and pepare to slide around corners and where you can push for higher speeds! Don't overlook the proper tuning of the car either. Take a look at the track's surface (dirt, asphalt, or whatever) and the weather conditions and then decide on the proper tires for maximum grip! Alot of people pick up this game not really taking the time to really get into it and are easily frustrated when unable to place well in the 10 year championship mode. Take my advice and really look at where your making mistakes and how the cars handle with the different conditions and vehicle set ups befor attempting to become the Grand Champion!

With my wheel I bounce from wall to wall and all attempts to tame it by tweeking the settings failed. So it was shelved. Save your bucks or better yet spend them on one of the many more enjoyable rally games out there.
