My 11-yr old is getting into doing "Double Dutch" jump-roping with her friends. Loves it. Rec'd product in just a few days - Bueno.

Jump Rope
Bought this as a double dutch jump rope. It's very hard to use the plastic cased jump rope. Would recommend an actual "rope" jump rope.

I love the quality of the ropes! i ordered two so that we could double dutch and I can't say anything bad about them...Very durable for sure..I am waiting for this item to become available again so that i can purchase two more...would definitely recommend this item to others:) and i love that this item is fulfilled by amazon--got here in 5 days!

These are exactly the kinds of ropes they use at my children's elementary school for the "Double Dutch Club." They do hurt, if you're not a great jumper or are still learning, and they hit you in the head, ear, etc. But, they are the perfect length for Double Dutch and they are nicely weighted. They are sturdy and hold up well. Of course, the center "beads" get scuffed from hitting the ground as the rope is turned, but that is to be expected. My youngest son is trying to learn to jump in, and so he wears his bike or ski helmet to keep from getting hurt.

My daughter wanted a jump rope to use with friends. This one is great. The only caution is that when the rope hits you, it stings.
