Heard all about this beautiful book at Roundtop Antique Festival from six fabulous new women friends from Georgia. They had all purchased their copies and were raving about it. I visited the blog to see all the beautiful images to find that Leslie Sinclair is a Houstonian very near my Sugar Land home town. Love the book and am adding it to the Eve's Garden Girls' Club Favorites for all my "gal pals" who love to feather their nest in unique and beautiful ways @ [...]

I loved the pictures of the rooms but was disappointed in the lack of "how" the results were achieved. I would have liked more detail on the techniques, type of paints, glazes, etc.

This much anticipated book is a must-see for those interested in beautiful yet livable family homes. Leslie Sinclair has created an incredible collection of timeless photographs that tease and surprise over and over again. I find something new and different each time I open it. The quality of Ms. Sinclair's first publication is in a class by itself. This over sized three hundred page book is an impressive gift to give and receive.

This book is absolutely beautiful! The pictures are just jaw dropping! The author placed a hand-written thank you note in an envelope in the front of my book which, I believe, is a nice touch and was very much appreciated!
The only thing I wish was included in the book was the color of paints and glazes used, if possible. I know many were probably custom colors, but when I see a wall color and fall in love with it, I would like to know what paint brand and color were used.
I highly recommend purchasing this book, you will not be disappointed!

I love that when I opened this book, there was a had hand written a note from the author to me, I was floored. No one does that anymore, and it was such a special touch I loved it. And then the book, well it is full of beautiful pictures and lots of insight and very well sourced. I would highly recommend this book, I find myself looking through it over and over again.

This is a beautiful book full of elegance and creativity. There are wonderful examples of classic designs and finishes with 21st century applications. Being a bit of a snoop, I really enjoyed peeking into a variety of spectacular homes - from regal urban estates to quaint country kitchens. The photography is excellent, giving a realistic perspective with clear detail. I wandered through, going from page to page with sticky notes at the ready. I found quite a few styles that I want to use our future home project. It is so much easier to have examples of specific looks and finishes, and this will be a great help to me in the future. I found myself flipping back and forth to compare colors, finishes and styles. I appreciated the explanations of how some of the applications and finishes were achieved. This book will appeal to anyone interested in fine interior detail.

I received this spectacular book today. Segreto is even more than I expected and now my favourite design book and I have many. The explanations in Secreto are superb! Detailed and specific without having an enormous amount of words. There are so many ideas, each page shows balance, sophistication and creativity.
I love this book with its fabulous photography and elegance throughout this book will be cherished in our home.
