I have been through three cases for the 8330... its slightly thicker than the 8300/8310/8320. VERY few places even acknowledge a difference, nevermind making a separate case. I originally had a silicon skin, which I just didn't like. Switched to a vinyl case (tried leather, but it was stretched way too tight, made me nervous). The seams on the vinyl case made the bottom row of buttons too difficult to use, and it wasn't aligned right with all of the buttons because it was made for the slightly thinner 8300... Plus, using the clip that came with the vinyl case made my curve stick way out, and I kept hitting it with my arm when I was doing things.

I found the Seidio case, and thought "what's another $[...]?" Turns out its the best money I've spent on the phone (besides buying the phone and the data plan, which I use ALL the time). The case is rugged yet reasonably thin (doesn't add too much bulk to the phone), and I've dropped it a couple times (on purpose) from as high as ~4 feet onto "corporate carpet" without any issues. The holster is secure, and has the "sleeper function" built in which puts the blackberry into its power save mode when it's in the holster. The music player works perfect when in the holster (very important to me), and with the spring clip I can pop the phone right out of the holster to answer messages/phone calls. If I know I'm going to be taking the holster off and on for work, or whatever, then I turn the phone around (holster works perfectly with face in or face out) so that if it's on the table, I can see the indicator light easily (face in, the indicator light is covered).

The ONLY "con" I have is that I have fat fingers, and the case is a little thicker at the top so the "mute" button is slightly harder to push. Not that big of a deal though. It's still accessible, just slightly less so than the rest of the buttons (but all the rest of the buttons are easily accessible, which was a big problem with my previous cases).

Unfortunately I couldn't find the case for the 8330 on the Amazon website, but it's available direct from [...]. Fast shipping, reasonable price. The case on this Amazon ad WILL NOT WORK for the CDMA Blackberry Curve 8330! The thicker phone will keep you from getting a secure fit with the case (if you can get the case to click closed at all). I assume that since the 8330 case works so well that the the 8300 case will work for the 8300 phones just as well. I highly recommend this case (and a screen protector)!

I got a lot of information from the other reviews for this product, but here are a couple things that were a pleasant surprise:

1. The Innocase is not a soft silicone "skin" like the one (also from Seidio) I had for my previous Pearl. Rather, it is a semi-rigid case that snaps in half to place the Curve inside. It's very slim, but it does a great job of protecting the phone.
2. Turned sideways, the phone and holster have a very low profile when worn on a belt. This is very important to me, as I wear it like this all the time (when driving, at work, etc). It's not significantly bigger than my Pearl was.
3. The quality of the holster is excellent. The clip part that actually keeps the phone in the holster is also spring-load, which is a nice touch. It's certainly better than the other holsters you can get out there, for as low as 2 bucks.

So, if you think the Blackberry leather holster looks like a ridiculous purse hanging from your belt, this holster to get. Definitely worth the above-average price.

UPDATE! June 3, 2009
I've use the case and holster every day since I bought it, and it has held up great... until today. I've dropped the phone more than a couple times, and the case has occasionally come apart (it's a 2 piece hard case, as noted above), but easily snapped back together. However, after dropping the phone again, I saw that the case had actually snapped near the keyboard area. Sigh. I just ordered a new one.
On the bright side, the phone continues to be undamaged, and the holster part is going strong.

I first bought a Seidio rubberized holster/case combo last year for my Spring Mogul 6800. I was hooked and had to have another for my blackberry when my company started handing out blackberries to its consultants. I have nothing negative to say about this product aside from the fact that it is a bit pricey. The sleep function works fine with it. Its thin, sleek and does not add much if any bulk to the phone. My favorite thing about the case is how easily the phone comes out and back into the case. Highly recommended
