I couldn't image using my G1 without this case. It's the perfect shield for the screen, and the perfect clip to keep t at the top of my pocket. I would highly recommend this and the "Innocase" shell for the G1.

This case has a lot going for it.. it looks good, fits well (at first) and protects the phone well. The belt clip is nicely adjustable and stays put.

However, the case clips onto the phone with little plastic tabs that break very easily. Basically, every time you take the case off (which you will have to do to remove the battery) you will probably break at least one of the little tabs off. I only had my case a month before one of the tabs broke.

I wrote to Seidio customer service and asked them if I could get a replacement, or even purchase just the front bezel portion of the case (which was where the first tab broke off) and was flatly denied. That's right, even though I offered to pay for a replacement part, they told me tough, you buy a whole new case or you get nothing. Jerks.

So, now months later three more tabs have broken off, the case no longer fits well, it's more like a 'slipcase' than an actual cover since it comes off in your hand. But, I have to keep using it since without it the phone won't fit in the belt holster without it.

I guess they feel since very few other vendors make custom G1 cases they can treat customers any way they like.
Cheap materials, and useless customer service. Buyer beware.

This holster combo is a "ten". Great fit/finish--case snaps snugly onto the phone, no sloppiness. Phone inserts screen-side in into the holster and is held firmly in place by spring clip. Also, the rubber-like finish on the phone case makes the G1 a bit easier to hold onto, the model being a thicker phone by current smartphone standards.

Very well engineered and ruggedly made. Highly recommend.
