the battery serves its purpose and extends phone life althought it may not seem like it at first. you must let the batter charge and fully discharge a couple times. The increase is from 8-9 hours to about 12-13 which will give you a couple more houre of music or streaming video for those long trips. i also like that you dont need a new back cover for the extended battery. it replaced my old one(which got dopped in water and for some reason stopped holding a chargd) with no problem

I was looking for a spare battery because I am addicted to my phone and use it for everything all the time. My previous battery died after 5 hours of continuous use due to me recharging while it was not completely discharged of all energy. This new battery serves its purpose and last all day. Just make sure to charge it only when it is completely dead. After several complete discharges and recharges your battery will be in optimal condition and last you all day or even longer!!!!
