Clean and Smooth Screen Protector,

This is my favorite screen protector for my Incredible. I've tried SGP, Anti-fingerprint, Boxwave, and Verizon. To me this is the closest to the natural feel of the screen itself. I put it on in the bathroom first running the shower for a few minutes to steam it up and then cleaned my DInc with a eyeglass cleaning cloth, microfiber and finally running a piece of tape across the screen to pick up any remaining little pieces of lint. The very first time I put it on I misaligned it big time but it was easy enough to try again. Having 3 cats, lint travels with me wherever I go! When I did get it alinged there was to much lint for me to individually pick out but Seidio's are washable so I rinsed it off with a little soap and water, shook it off and started again. This time the alignment was correct and the few bubbles came right out by smoothing with the included card. There is a cut out for the optical joystick and speaker which I know is hard to see in the photos. These are usually backordered here but I only had to wait a few days before I got an email saying it was on it's way! Seidio Ultimate Screen Protectors have kept my screen free of scrapes and scratches from being kept in my purse, and I would recommend them to anyone.

This screen protector makes the Incredible seem brand new again. It is cut precisely for the screen and joystick. I didn't get it aligned correctly the first time but I used the trick suggested in the instructions to use a piece of tape to lift it again. This prevented any lint or fingerprints on the back and I was able to get it on correctly. I like that it doesn't require any liquid to adhere; electronics and water don't mix! I like the smooth feel and clear look of the protector, as many others out there are cloudy and/or rough.I am using this with the Seidio case http://amzn.com/B003OQUKT8 and they work well together.

When I was shopping for a screen protector for my new Incredible, I didn't like how all the rest seemed to require an engineering degree to be able to apply them. This screen protector was a piece of cake to put on! I followed the instructions and got it perfectly aligned on the first try. I used the card to squeeze out the bubbles, and voila! There was one tiny bubble between the optical joystick and the bottom edge, which I could not get out, because of the bad location, but it's so tiny, it's only noticeable to me. The protector feels just like the screen did before I applied it, and does not change the responsiveness or look of the screen at all. Even though this protector was more expensive than some of the other available ones, the ease of application and high quality make it worth it.

Very good screen protector for the HTC Incredible. A little bit tricky to put on unless you follow the instructions (start from the bottom near the button, not from the top near the speaker). Added bonus is the little round bit that is left over from where the hole for the button is can be used to protect the camera lens as well.

Item is easy to install and allows the touchscreen to work perfectly. I use it with the Green Seidio Innocase II, and the two are fully compatible and protect every area of the phone. I was tempted to remove a star because I don't think a 2-pack is necessary. I'd be happy to pay half the price to just get one screen cover. But I'll leave that up to you to decide and stick with 5 stars as it is a great screen cover that's easy to use. Plus I have a spare so I can easily replace it in a year or so if needed.

Finally a Screen Protector That Works!,

After having tried many other screen protectors for my Incredible I was recommended the Seidio Ultimate Screen Protector by a friend. The screen protector went on easy in only about 2 minutes and left no air bubbles or lint underneath which many others do. Includes 2 protectors for only $11 compared to the other expensive brands like Zagg and Steinheil. As always, Seidio makes only the best wireless accessories.

I originally thought these screen protectors were over priced, but I bought them because of the excellent reviews. This product is great for three reasons; ease of application, resilience, and clean-ability. All other screen protectors I have used in the past have had application processes that consisted of holding your breath, cold sweats, and cursing in the event of a mess up. The Seidio screen protector was very easy to apply if you don't get it lined up the first time you just pull it up and try again. I have been using the screen proctor for a month now and it has not picked up any scratches. Most other protectors I have used are very prone to scratching. Also, when the screen gets streaked with grease and oils from your hand it is easily wiped off with any available cloth. The extra cost of this protector is more than worth it.

Having trouble deciding between Seidio's screen protector and the other well-known competitors (Zagg's InvisibleSHIELD, SGP's Steinheil)? I recently purchased this product after carefully comparing reviews on both Amazon.com and Droid Incredible fansites...I have to say, this product definitely met my expectations for a high quality screen protection solution at a reasonable price. Contrary to InvisibleSHIELD, I noticed little to no change in drag and finger resistance when using the touchscreen. My screen remains just as touch sensitive as it originally was. It's smooth, and also extremely clear; there is no orange hue or fine vertical lines you might see with the competition. Many of my friends had a hard time believing that there was a screen protector on the display at all. I think Zagg's product is a worthy competitor because they offer lifetime replacements. I haven't tried a Steinheil; I imagine the product to be just as good as this.Installation was easy. Take heed, however: as many people on the product page have said, you will be thankful that the package comes included with two protectors. Before applying the protector, I imagined that doing research on how to put the product on would serve me well. I somehow still messed up. I suppose with my luck and clumsiness, it's to be expected. The first protector I put on I put on backwards. I realized this because immediately after installing it, I noticed how much drag and stickiness the screen had. I couldn't get any of the air bubbles out. The included cleaning cloth put dust all over the screen, and the applicator card actually scratched off some of the protector's top layer. This was when I knew I had applied the protector on backwards. I quickly took it off and applied the second protector, cognizant of the mistake I had just made. Apply the protectors from the bottom of the screen upwards. If you mess up, slowly and carefully lift the protector off the screen and reapply it. The best guideline you have is the optical touchpad. Use this as reference for lining up the screen protector. Apply the rest of the protector by slowly work your way up the phone's screen. As you lay down the protector, squeeze out any bubbles by applying pressure to the applicator card, pushing the bubbles out toward the edges. I was surprised at how quick the application took. When about half of the protector has been applied, you can pretty much eyeball the rest of the protector. My biggest concern with applying the protector was of course the dust. Thoroughly cleaning the screen is a must. Use a barely damp paper towel to start. Someone who reviewed the product had suggested leaving the shower on; I'm not sure exactly how this affects the amount of dust in the air... I applied the protector in a steamy bathroom and saw just as much dust falling from the sky as I would have had I been in another room. I constantly had to use the cleaning cloth, my own microfiber cloth, and my breath to clean the bare screen. Within the blink of an eye, another speck of dust would fall down. It was easily the most stressful part of the whole process. I eventually found myself wiping off the rest of the bare screen continuously as I slowly applied the protector. You can easily hover over the Droid Incredible with your hand if you're really paranoid about the dust getting through. If you don't have a can of pressurized air available, blowing on the screen works just as well. Overall, I love the quality and protection this product offers. Simply put, you can't tell the product is on your device unless you scrutinize the edges of your phone screen. Using the screen feels natural and quite responsive. If I had to be brutally honest, the only difference I noticed with this screen protector on is how it changed the luxe feel given with the bare screen. However smooth the protector may be, it feels like gliding your finger over plastic. Excellent, high quality, scratch-protecting, ultra-clear plastic. Sans protector, the screen feels like strongly built glass. This is the only sacrifice I've noticed, and it's a little one at that. All else is exactly everything I could've asked for from a screen protector.

Better touch sensation,
This review is from: Seidio Ultimate Screen Guard for HTC DROID Incredible, 2 Pack - Crystal Clear (Wireless Phone Accessory)
This cover is great if you want the same feeling you get when you are interacting directly with the screen (no soft plastic sensation like the one you get with the invisible shield). And it is just barely noticeable because it fits perfectly on the screen, just be careful when you install it.It may be described as "scratch proof" but it is NOT, that's why I'm giving it only 4 stars, but I feel confident to have the phone in my pocket knowing that the screen is protected. The price you pay is not too high, considering you get 2 protectors, that's a pretty good deal. Some other people are saying it is a grease magnet too, that's true, but just clean it every once in a while and you'll be just fine. Nice product, nice price.

I am a gadget nerd and am almost OCD about scratches on my electronics. I try to keep all my equipment in pristine condition to protect their resale value, functionality, and aesthetic quality. I ordered several kinds of screen protectors to try, and essentially hate them all.I tried the ZAGG invisible shield, and not only was it a hassle to put on (and I am relatively good at applying Zagg skins because I've used them several times in the past, and applied several to this specific phone as well). The liquid solution is a hassle to use without getting it in the cracks/openings of the device, it is hard to keep your fingers wet to avoid fingerprints on the adhesive side of the skin, bubbles and dust are impossible to avoid, and even when I had gotten rid of all bubbles/dust, the skin later develops the 'orange peel' effect, where the skin is bubbly and dimply like the skin of an orange. It impairs clarity of the screen and is an overall pain. It also accumulates tons of smear marks from your fingers swiping the touch screen. However, it is impossible to scratch. That is in stark contrast to the Seidio Screen Protector. Although application is somewhat more straight forward, it is a dust/lint MAGNET, and fingerprints are permanent. Dust can be removed with a piece of tape, but while you're removing one dust particle, ten others will float over and stick to other parts of the skin. If you do somehow manage to lay down the skin without dust and align it corectly, you only have about a days worth of use before scratches start to accumulate. It is somewhat resistant to smaller scratches, but if you put your phone in a purse, backpack, basically anything other than a velvet plush case, expect it to have some deep gouges before too long. It also never completely adheres around the top speaker and the optical track ball. There are bubbles around those areas where it reffused to stick, and I returned 2 packs of screen protectors for this reason. None of them stuck around these areas and eventually I gave up. In the end, its the lesser of several evils. I haven't found a screen protector that I am happy with yet, but this one seems to be doing the job of keeping my real screen from being demolished. However, I would probably prefer the Zagg invisible shield if I could do everything over again, simply because you can't scratch it and they guarantee their product. However, its $20 where as the Seidio 2 pack was like $14 or something? It's pretty arbitrary...they are all frustrating. Hope this helps. Good luck! |
