This will make you miss the game!, March 15, 2004
This review is from: Seiken Densetsu V.2 (Audio CD)
If you don't have the game anymore (I stupidly traded mine for Secret of Evermore), then this will make you want to get it again. As you listen to all 44 tracks, you will begin to reminisce on how much fun Secret of Mana was and how intriguing the music made the game. Well, at least that's how it is with me. This soundtrack has all the music from the game, but all the tracks are fairly short, usually being about a minute and a half each. I sometimes wished the tracks would repeat itself at least one more time to give them more length, but then again that could be a bad thing... All the songs gave me a sense of nostalgia and are fun to listen to. It's nice to hear the complex drum beats with the double bass patterns, and the fun and exciting melodies (like the Dwarf Cave song). The bass on some songs are fast and complex and really fun to listen to. It astonished me on how complex and good the bass sounded. The best part about this album is that all the songs are produced and mixed well. They all sound crystal clear! Go out and get this if you can fork over 35-50 dollars, because it is worth it.

Wonderful Mixture, May 13, 2003
This review is from: Seiken Densetsu V.2 (Audio CD)
Although the domestic release of this game soundtrack, Secret of Mana released for SNES, was shortlived, we can be thankful the original release in japan like this one is still available. If you've played the game, then you will likely remember the wonderful collection of musical tracks that followed you around for those hours of fun. This is the original game music soundtrack, with the memorable tracks of Fear of the Heavens, Prophecy and I Closed My Eyes. Haunting music to the delightful fun sounds of dwarves and sprites.

Good good whole wheat music., September 22, 2001
This review is from: Seiken Densetsu V.2 (Audio CD)
This is wonderful music that is both aesthetic and interesting. It was written by Hiroki Kikuta, and -not- Nobuo Uematsu as some may lead you to believe.
