I love my new clock. It is very sleek and modern-looking. The numbers are large and easy to read. At night the clock is dark. If you want to check the time you just press the large snooze bar and the time display lights up.

There are many great features like the large numbers, blue light, and atomic clock synchronization. It is also very easy to change the time. Very loud alarm but wish it had a volume control as it wakes my spouse even if he doesn't need to get up. You can only snooz three times for a total of 15 minutes. I also like the battery operation and having no cords on my night table. It has a nice look and very reasonably priced. Quick turnaround on my order. Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase.

My first review of this clock said that it jumps time zones on a whim and temp changes back to Centigrade. I find that after re-reading the instructions, I can set the time zone to USA permanently, which I did. After many weeks, I have had no problem at all. I would change my stars to 4 if I could, but Amazon doesn't seem to allow that.

I do like the design of this clock. It's thin, easy to pack and batteries are easily accessible. However, the face doesn't stay lighted so if you wake up in the night, you must touch the snooze/light button to view. Awkward, but batteries last a long longer that way.

Pros:
(1) It synced rapidly to the atomic clock in Colorado (I'm near Portland OR)
(2) It has daylight savings time built into it, so no need to diddle with the clock at those two times each year
(3) Shows the day of week and date at the bottom of the display
(4) Button bar on top edge activates the backlighting for 4 seconds
(5) Has a low battery indicator (uses two AA cells)

Cons:
(1) When backlight is activated, a very faint but audible whining tone is produced, which at night, might be annoying to your spouse
(2) Time display numbers could be a bit larger - they are 1.25 inches high

I highly recommend this alarm clock. Large, easy-to-read numbers; easy set-up; acquired the atomic clock signal faster than any other clock I've used. The usual great Seiko quality!

the description of what i was purchasing was in line with the product recieved. i was very satisfied.

I like the alarm clock, but I find the alarm is too loud. It wakes everyone in the house besides me. Is there any way to turn it down? Also, I lost the instructions for setting the alarm, and I find it is difficult to figure out how to set the alarm for a different time.

This clock is just what I was hoping for. It has a large digital display that is easy to read from many angles. I use it on my bedside table and it's easy to find see the time at a quick glance. This is important because we have taped over the cable box clock display. We decided to cover up all "electronic lights" in our bedroom, which means that I rely on this clock whenever I want to glance at the time, which is often.

When it's pitch black, touching the top of the clock lights it up for five seconds with a non-startling blue background. Very nice.

The clock has a stable base that is nearly 2" deep at its deepest, so I've had no problems with it falling over.

The styling is superb. Very simple and modern. It looks much better on my bed side table than I expected.

I didn't use the automatic time setting feature. I set it manually rather than waiting for it to pick up the signal.

The alarm is simple and there aren't any sound options other than the default beep. But I don't use mine much as an alarm anyway.

My wife likes it so much that we're ordering another one for her.

The clock is great looking and works wonderful as described; no need to set it. My only problem is the dial is not lit up which makes it very difficult to see in the evening or night. At those times you have to depress a light button and then you can see the numbers. Not necessarily desireable for an alarm clock. Had I known this I probably would not have purchased it.

This is a very nice looking clock. It works well other than the fact that it seems to have some trouble synchronizing to the radio signal; I'm not sure if this is the nature of these clocks or not (I own one other, and it is also a bit particular about placement). That is the only reason that I did not give it 5 stars.

Also, I have never used the alarm function, but I'm sure that it works fine. Finally, I might have been willing to spend a little more to have a temperature display.
