Showcasing a slim, sleek design, the Seiko Advanced Technology Travel Alarm Clock is perfect for heavy sleepers on the move. Constructed with a black and metallic case, the clock is designed with a unique global R-wave system that will receive signals for Atomic Clocks worldwide for precise timekeeping. If the clock isn't in range of an atomic signal, it still works as an accurate quartz clock. The face features a digital-gray display with push-button dial light. It includes a world time function with 29 major cities and a dual-time-zone display. In addition, the clock features a day-and-date calendar, a thermometer, and an ascending beep alarm with snooze button that stops after one minute of uninterrupted beeping.

2.0 out of 5 stars Could not sync with atomic time, December 7, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Seiko Advanced Technology Travel Alarm Clock Black and Metallic Case (Watch)
Although all the other advertised features worked, I could not get the clock to sync with the atomic time signal. We live in Las Vegas which is not that far from the signal broadcasting location in Denver, Colorado. We tried in several locations, upstairs, downstairs, and even placed in windows facing the direction of Denver. We let it try to sync for over 24 hours. After no success, we returned the unit.

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor Back Light, November 1, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Seiko Advanced Technology Travel Alarm Clock Black and Metallic Case (Watch)
The backlight is a single light bulb on the left and there is very little in the way of a diffuser behind it to even out the light. At 3 in the morning when you try to see the time it is very difficult to read the time because there is one bright spot. I went to Brookstone and bought there travel alarm clock that has a beautiful even glowing display and I am much happier. Do not buy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Works well, February 4, 2010
This review is from: Seiko Advanced Technology Travel Alarm Clock Black and Metallic Case (Watch)
Located in Ontario Canada, the Atomic Clock feature works during the night consistently but is hit and miss during the day. In any case the clock is updated automatically daily which is good enough for me. The single light in the display is adequate but one on each side would be better. Ease of setting alarm time is good, also no confusion over whether it is on or off. Volume of alarm is also good. A very good travel alarm in my opinion.
