To begin, I was a tad bit hesitant buying this watch because of the previous reviews stated how 'BIG' it is and 'HUMONGOUS' it can be. I have a 6 1/2 to 7 inch wrist and i'd have to say it fits perfectly. Although it would possibly look better on people with large wrists, i think it looks fine on my small - medium sized wrist.

The weight, secondly, is awesome. I've always loved the hefty feel to watches, and this watch accomplished the feel perfectly. The instructions are simple to understand and the watch is easy to set up.

The shipping time was earlier than expected, then again, the dealer is from LA, which is only about 4 hrs from where I live which is prob why. So no complaints about seller.

Overall, I look forward to the many years I will be spending with this watch. Thank you Seiko for this awesome watch!

P.S. I bought this watch at $299. Seems as if the watch is going up and up from different sellers. Maybe the rumor about Seiko discontinuing this watch is true, cause i can't find this watch on any other website sub $500. Better get yours ASAP!

The previous review is perfect in capturing the sentiment - Darth Vader would love it! This watch is Huge and Heavy in terms of both Awesomeness and weight. Though this is definitely not for individuals with a small wrist, it is an amazing watch to own for those who prefer a large and spectacular watch.

I have several automatic watches in the sub $1000 price range and this is still my favorite and the one I wear 80% of the time. Its rugged, waterproof, all metal, keeps great time, glows in the dark, never needs batteries (automatic) and looks bad ass!

if Darth Vador had a watch this would be it. it is fantastic. keeps perfect time. and looks totaly cool. if you are thinking about getting this model do it now. there is a rumor SEIKO is going to stop this model.

OK, two years later update - May 30 2011 - it stll runs and looks great.
