This clock has the standard plastic, single AA "Made in China" movement that a lot of the other MUCH cheaper clocks have. Mine broke and cost $85 to repair and the new movement is only warranted for 6 more months. Pretty paperweight... one star. I hope the newer movement lasts longer.
